Korn Removed from KDEPIM

Howdy,

We removed korn from the kdepim source tree today and
put it into unmaintained/4. Both source code and docs were moved.

Korn hasn't been built anyway for awhile.

I think this means the translated files need to be moved (or removed) too?
Albert?

It seems the present windows desktop effect was much more unstable
than I thought it was, it can't be released in its current state.

I have made two commits that need to be included in the 4.2.1
packages: r933172 and r934456.

Hopefully this won't cause too much trouble. Now I need to work out
why it was so unstable even if 4.2.0 worked fine with the same code.

I've updated kdebase-workspace to include those fixes:

5659e3c7c992fab38223b0a467377495 kdebase-workspace-4.2.1.tar.bz2

I have some trouble with syncing it to ktown at the moment, hopefully it will be there when you read the
message, otherwise tonight when I'm back online.

Greetings,
Dirk

FYI, richardmg fixed the API issues that kept it from building against
Qt 4.4, and I committed some changes that had been in my patch queue for
building on OSX. Additionally, the moc/compile issue I ran into was
that automoc didn't understand .mm files. I committed a change to
automoc to handle that as well.

current kdesupport/phonon with kdesupport/automoc trunk is golden on OSX
now with CMake.

Forwarding to the release-team list, as I don't know about this ... :)

Getting distros to fix my lazyness

Hi,

I just realized I forgot to bump Gwenview version number from 2.2.0 to
2.2.1 before KDE 4.2.1 got tagged (just fixed it for 4.2.2).

I would like to suggest kde packagers to fix the version number in their
4.2.1 packages. What is the best way to communicate this to all (well,
most) of them?

kde-packager@... might be the most successful way.

Is it Qt-only?
If so, it could certainly go into kdesupport.
