One proposal, one Yay, no objections. Alright, acceptance taken. :)

Ensured.

Added.

Will also contact and introduce myself and the new task to the developers of
the code in kdeutils the next days, so they know whom to push or hug for
things related to releases, dependencies or whatever.

Thanks for the trust

Maybe under www/announcements/changelogs ? That file has entries per version,
but I think it's mainly used for service updates.

Kudos for thinking about that, btw. :)

Soft Freeze pushed back until April 20th

20 April is the new soft freeze deadline. From the Release Schedule [R], we
learn that features you want to work on after that deadline (and that should
get into 4.1) need to be in the Feature Plan. [F]

The release team has been asked for a bit more time, there are at least two
sprints happening during the weekend after the freeze - Kate and Plasma. The
developers would like to have the opportunity to add stuff that they hadn't
thought about earlier.

Happy hacking :)

In the future can you please make sure all tarballs that have been modified
get a version bump?

Hi Claudia.

Welcome!
Reading back through the archives of the Release Team mailing list
it looks like we accomplished the following during the second half 2007:
 - released 3.5.8
 - released 4.0.0 betas and release candidates

Do you want dates and descriptions? or is a bullet list good enough?

KDE 4.0.4 release date

Hi,

I'd like to schedule 4.0.4 tagging to April 30th. Any problems with that?

Thanks,
Dirk
