Website migration

Y'all may notice that KDE is moving to the new oxygen look for its sites. 
Personally I think we should move too. There's a couple of approaches we 
could take:

1) Import the new media/ framework (Capacity) and track it -- this keeps our 
current hosting and access settings

2) Move everything back to KDE SVN -- this means free updates to Capacity, 
hosting, but different access

3) Move everything to a CMS -- this disconnects hosting from access, and there 
is at least one CMS with a ready-to-go Oxygen skin from media

Should we go for option #1, then someone with CVS access needs to pull in the 
new media/ fairly soon.

KWallet Manager problem

Hi all,

I'm running two boxes, one 6.0-RELEASE, one 6.1-RELEASE, both have KDE
3.5.4 built on them, current as of Sept. 29th.

I've noticed that when I use kwallet to access my passwords in kmail,
the kwallet manager systray icon no longer shows up. Furthermore, if I
try to start up the manager from the K-Menu, nothing happens.

I'm not sure how to generate any useful debugging output. Looking at the
console, I don't see any tell-tale error messages. Nothing seems to happen.

The thing is, the wallet subsystem still appears to be working... i.e.,
the apps get the needed passwords. I just can't call up the manager.

Any assistance would be appreciated. I have WANT_KDE_DEBUG=YES in my
make.conf, so if someone will tell me how, I might be able to get
something useful.

Reading K3B burnt discs on Windows XP home

Hi,

I seem to be having a problem reading a data disc that I created using K3B on 
FreeBSD 6.1 AMD64.  My Thinkpad running XP Professional doesn't have a 
problem reading the disc, but my kids' PC running XP home does.

Has anyone had any success making this work?  FWIW - I have turned on both 
Rock Ridge and Joliet extensions when burning.  As far as I can tell 
everything else is at their default settings.

Any help will be appreciated.

I am seeing the same problem on my system (7.0-CURRENT) - if I kill the
walletmanager PID and afterwards start it (via K-menu -> Settings ->
Wallet Management Tool) it works again.

I haven't had time to investigate further.
