Help with error

Hello,
I try to upgrade KDE (x11/kde3) from 3.3.2 to 3.4.
I do it as described in UPDATING or http://freebsd.kde.org/index.php#n20050320.
After 
       portupgrade -O arts\* kde\*
I get:

** Listing the failed packages (*:skipped / !:failed)
        ! devel/kdesdk3 (kdesdk-3.3.2)  (X libraries missing)
        * devel/kdevelop (kdevelop-3.1.2)
        ! misc/kdeutils3 (kdeutils-3.3.2)       (X libraries missing)
--->  Packages processed: 17 done, 1 ignored, 1 skipped and 2 failed

What happens. Which libraries are missing. Maybe I must use for packages above

        portupgrade -R instead ?

I just checked - it does when ipv6_enable="YES" is also in rc.conf.

The fact that net.inet6.ip6.v6only is set to 1 and and is effective at all if 
ipv6_enable is set to "NO" (which is the default) is a base system bug and 
should be reported.

We can't tell from the data you provided. You need to look for the actual 
failure during the build of the respective ports.

Every so often after a KDE upgrade I've got to go through this. 
Thankfully the last couple of upgrades have gone smoothly, but I sure
know what you're talking about.

Personally, I move the .kde directory to .kde-bak, let KDE create a
new config directory, then just move on over the critical stuff. 
Things like KMail configs, KJots notes and the like.  These app
specific items tend to upgrade nicely, where the KDE environment
configs tend to cause issues.

kde unbuildable on sparc64 5.4

Sorry I didn't catch this during the freeze, but kde is unbuildable on
sparc64, alpha and ia64 because it depends on jackit, which is marked

ONLY_FOR_ARCHS=         i386 amd64

Can someone please track down and remove this dependency on the other
platforms, so I can slip the tag?

Call for testers: devel/gamin

devel/gamin is a drop-in replacement for devel/fam. If you don't know what fam 
is, ignore this message, if you do and perhaps use fam with KDE, please try 
replacing it with gamin and test if works well - that would mean testing both 
at runtime (does drop-in replacing fam with gamin really work) and at compile 
time (does x11/kdelibs3 enable fam support and compile successfully with 
gamin instead of fam).

The devel/fam port has been suffering from bitrot for a long time and has 
design-inherent performance issues, so I think gamin is something that's very 
worthwhile to evaluate as a replacement.
