[kde-edu]: tens -> tenths ??

Hello,

I was translating some strings in klettres and I noticed these sentences:

"Default is 2 tens of seconds."
"Set the timer (in tens of seconds)"
"Default is 4 tens of seconds..."

I'm not a native english speaker, but I feel these sentences strange, as for me "2 tens of seconds" will be 20 seconds, which I judge too long.

So I wonder if these are typos and have to be "tenths of seconds" instead.

Anybody knows?

Orestes.

In the version I have installed on my PC it appears in tenths of
seconds, however they really should be in milliseconds ;)

What KLettres version please?
As far as I know, it has been fixed but I'd prefer to know the version in
order to check.

Thanks in advance,

I can confirm KLettres 1.5.1, British English, Debian Lenny, doesn't
have it, however it should actually read '4 tenths of a second' or
'400 milliseconds' rather than '4 tenths of second'.

It has been changed 20 months ago, you can check it there
http://websvn.kde.org/branches/KDE/3.5/kdeedu/klettres/klettres/timer.cpp?r1=465369&r2=509087

What language do you translate into? Is it a translation for KDE?

Thanks,

Anne-Marie

It's still there on KDE4 "What's this" for the sliders.

Re: [kde-edu]: tens -> tenths ??

Hi,

Very sorry, yes, there are "tens" remaining in tooltips and QWhatsThis.
Fixing it right now in branch and trunk.

I should have used "grep"!

Apologies,

Anne-Marie

Sorry, I was tired yesterday when I wrote the mail. I should have given more
details.

But Albert Astals has pointed it out yet. I was translating last KDE4 version
from SVN.

[kde-edu]: KPercentage (KDE 3.5)

Hi list,

as requested KPercentage saves and restores its window position now.

I committed this change to branch 3.5. It needs to be ported to trunk/KDE4.

Best regards

Matthias
