Hello

I've tried to install showimg-0.9.3-1mdk10.i586.rpm
I miss libdigikam.so. I've installed digikam0.6.2 and plugins before.

urpmi showimg-0.9.3-1mdk10.i586.rpm
Certains paquetages demandés ne peuvent pas être installés :
showimg-0.9.3-1mdk10.i586 (car libdigikam.so.0  est non satisfait) (O/n) o

How can I get get libdigikam.so ?

Hi, it seems my Canon Powershot A310 is not supported by Digikam 0 6 0. Can 
anyone help me to set it up? I am running Mandrake 10.

Hi Simon,

digikam does not support any digital camera at all. It is using gphoto 
for that job.

According to their list of supported cameras 
http://www.gphoto.org/proj/libgphoto2/support.php , your camera is not 
supported. I don't know if this has changed in the current cvs version 
of gphoto. I fear you have to ask them yourself.

Oliver, a friendly guy on the Gphoto list helped me out, gphoto2 as root sees 
my camera as :
[root <at> localhost simon]# gphoto2 --auto-detect
Model                          Port

USB PTP Class Camera           usb:
I then ran the gui and the auto detect function now sees the camera and it 
seems to work fine.
