Horde has nothing to do with X so ssh access is fine.

No

To many to list, rule nr1 when using Horde is to make backups of your backups
that backed up your backups, but it does work nicely just never ever forget
rule nr1 or you will be in a world of pain.

postfix aliases

Hello,

i want to use postfix aliases table (/kolab/etc/postfix/aliases) instead
of generating distribution lists in the manager
webinterface.
How can i do this?

I added an entry qwert to the aliases file and updated the db but i
still get the following error in the postfix.log:

Aug 31 20:28:05 kolab <info> postfix/smtpd[11671]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT
from client.domain.de[192.168.12.12]: 550 <qwert <at> domain.de>: Recipient
address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table;
from=<root <at> client.domain.de> to=<qwert <at> domain.de> proto=ESMTP
helo=<localhost.localdomain>

in the main.cf from postfix are the needed parameters alias_map and
alias_database so i dont know why it wont work.

Thanx for any help!

regards,
Timo

how to recover email from deliver.db?

greetings,

after a bad migration, I came up with a deliver.db file full of e-mails that
never got delivered. how can I inject those emails into cyrus mailboxes?
mail queue is empty, any chance of recovering those email from postfix?
I've already tried the cyrus tools, to no avail.

tia,

The steps required to enable the global addressbook in KONSEC Konnector is
descriped in detail in the KONSEC documentation p.15ff.

Can you please document at wiki.kolab.org what steps you did in order to
compile on AMD64?

That's not what deliver.db is for. This database is for duplicate
delivery suppression. It doesn't hold email bodies.

quotawarn on 2.0.1rc1

Hello,

Just upgraded from 2.0 to 2.0.1rc1 and noted a problem wih quotawarn.

It gives me the error message:

Can't locate object method "new" via package "Mail::Transport::SMTP"
(perhaps you forgot to load "Mail::Transpor
t::SMTP"?) at /kolab/etc/kolab/kolabquotawarn line 136.

Fortunately, the error message is very clear and adding

use Mail::Transport::SMTP;

to

/kolab/etc/kolab/kolabquotawarn

indeed solves the problem.

Hope this helps.

Herzliche GrĂ¼sse, kind regards,

This is the OpenPKG version, not the Kolab version!

Can you download the free/busy information using an ordinary web browser? What
URL are you using?

filter rules server-ased?

Dear community,

I have a question, as I was away the last week, and I have installed
squirrelmail to access my emails from outside.

Since I have registeres on a number of mailing lists, I get about 300 mails
per day, most of which will be filtered away into certain folders.

When I was away, I logged into squirrelmail and I saw more than 1800 email in
my inbox! Not having had my kontact / kmail client I assume that the
filtering is all done on the client side.

Is there a way to do the filtering on the server side? (I have the feeling
that Sieve is what I'm looking for, but I don't know anything about it)

Regards
Markus
