how am i supposed to add a user to a group in kolab admin interfaces ?

documentation is a bit poor about this

I guess you mean distribution list - just go to "distribution lists" and add 
the user's uid

Sound support for notifications, you can use the autodetect mode or just choose your player.
Sound support can be disabled if you want to hear only your music :).

The chat list view has alternative background color for a better visibility. 
You can send/request authorization when you need. Adding a new contact will manage the authorizations
automaticaly. The layout for authorization dialog has been fixed.

Simply add a user and then make the account of type "group account" in the web 
admin gui.

yes, by doing that i got myself a group account.

what i'd like to know is hown to add regular users to that group ??

You mean like granting read access?

This is done via the Kolab client setting access control list entries.

Troubles with Beta 4

Hi,

After installing Beta 4 I tried to start kolab, but when the amavisd
is started I get the following message: "No $Logfile is specified (
and not logging via syslog ) at /kolab/sbin/amavisd line 1050"

I deleted the whole directory and rebuilt it fromscratch but I get the
same error.

Yes, it is a good place to ask, because it might be related to Kolab.
However it is also important to know that this is not a standard 
Kolab server configuration. 

Did you get any further on this problem with the Openpkg places?
I hope that until we have made a change the let Kolab server components
interfere with the OpenPKG mysql stuff, it will not be our fault.

change the LOGFILE line in /kolab/etc/kolab/templates/amavid.conf.template?
