loading of raw xml

Hi, David
I found this commit:

I don't think this works if the raw xml is in the "old" format (maindoc.xml)
the test:
if ( d->m_specialOutputFlag != SaveAsDirectoryStore )
seems wrong to me. AFAICS it will *always* try to load oasis format.
If I remove the test, I can load "old" format just fine.
Have I missed something, or is it ok to remove the test?

Hi,
Yeahh, not much interest has been  *shown* from the kplato quarters, but I 
would have loved to have a standard odf format. I'm afraid it takes a *lot* ( 
I mean a *lot*) of legwork to make a useful proposal. (Some even thinks it's 
impossible). I'm allready running like mad to get kplato into a useful state, 
so I absolutely have no chance at all to also look at standardizing the file 
format :(
I have sort of hoped somebody would step forward and do that work. There is 
quite a lot of interest in *having* a standard, but so far noone has 
volunteered to actually do anything about it.

Sorry, got the commit totally wrong, the test has been there a loooong time.
(But I still think the code is wrong)

The actual code is in KoDcument.cpp line 1750 in loadNativeFormat():

if ( d->m_specialOutputFlag != SaveAsDirectoryStore ) // Don't try to open a 
directory ;)
    {
        in.setFileName(file);
        if ( !in.open( QIODevice::ReadOnly ) )
...

I don't see why the check for SaveAsDirectoryStore when we are actually 
loading. And as I say below it seems to me it will *always* end up trying to 
load oasis format, so "old" format will not work.

Anyone?

I hope you didn't take my remark as some sort of criticism.  It was merely an 
explanation. I think that KPlato has taken a very big step forward, and I 
look forward to writing a wordy announcement about it. :-)

I think that David Faure would be the person to talk to here, regarding what 
needs to be done and suggestions about how to do it.

Not a problem:
1. both parts ('foo' and 'bar' in you example) are in .pot
2. these messages (either separated or joined) are unused now and most likely 
subject to removal

Yeahh, there is a lot to do still, though. Some bigger things, and a lot of 
gui cleanup to make it usable. I'm not at all as far ahead as I hoped to be.
But, well, hope for the best, and ehh, hope for the best :)
