It looks very nice. When viewed in zoom roughly corresponding to 16x16 it is
perhaps a little bit fuzzy(vision impaired people, among other reasons).

In either way I wouldn't mind seeing this getting committed.

( BTW this is bug 78495)

I'm your man.
Back to Tomas' question - how do I get bug reports (properly) directed to a
mailinglist?

Yes, Ante has done quite some work there.

IT isn't built into the OS, it is part of the KDE desktop. AFAIK, the only
issue is fonts. The KSVG part does fonts and the icon/thumbnail renderer
doesn't.

AFAIK, it is now turned on by default. I get thumbnails of SVG and SVGZ files.

Could someone that uses Crystal on a current build comment on this?

I may be not joining the discussion I should really join...

But, anyway, I've been using Inkscape [www.inkscape.org] for a while by now
and it's a great tool for SVG graphics. Yes, I know it's sodipodi's fork,
but they evolve much faster and come up with much more new features in every
new version, compared to sodipodi, which I used to use earlier byth way.

Inkscape can do many _really_ cool things like logical operations on paths, it
can convert objects and fonts (!) to paths. And it opens the crystal SVG
icons just like it should.

Just my EUR 0.02 :-)
