click on a "open" or "import" button??

Re: Browsing Files...

You may use the AWT one. Take a look at ThinFeeder
(http://thinfeeder.sf.net) source code, you will find that.

Minimum HW requirements for Thinlet in PDA's

hi

I need to develop an application for PDA's, I'm using Jeode to run my
thinlets but i realized that is very slow, it takes like 3 or 4
seconds to open a menuItem. I'd like to know if that situation is
because the processor of my PDA or if that's a Jeode's problem.

if anyone has used thinlet for PDA's, please let me know what was the
HW configuration like processor speed, memory and VM used.

thnx in advance

Re: Minimum HW requirements for Thinlet in PDA's

Hello,

I tried to install CrEme on my PDA (ARM, Windows CE 4.2, Pocket PC)
but I have some problems (it seem it's not a Windows CE file!!).

Any idea about this??

Thanks

Strange. I have installed it on several different PDA's including ones
from Symbol, HP and Fujitsu-Siemens. And all worked nice.

Dialog Modal

Hi, I began develop with thinlet and I like it more and more every
day (sorry for my terrific english)
I developed a complex client for db connection and now I encountered
my first trouble. I have a dialog frame modal, but the user can write
text on main gui simply moving the dialog, I want he has to close it
before take control on main gui. Where is the error.
The dialog it's like this.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<dialog text="About" icon="icons/find.gif"
		columns="1" top="4" left="4" bottom="4" right="4"
gap="4" close="closeDialog()">
	<label font="Verdana 12 bold"  text="bla" />
  <label text="" />
	<label text="Title: bla" font="Verdana 12"/>
  <label text="bla bla" font="Verdana 12"/>
  </dialog>

Re: Dialog Modal

Hello Jack,

Try setting the dialog to modal, all you have to do is add the following
parameter to the dialog tag

<dialog ... modal="true" ... >
    ...
</dialog>

Rafael.
