New OpenJDK list: Discussion of distribution-specific packaging

As promised at this past weekend's discussion of distribution-specific
OpenJDK packaging issues at FOSDEM, I've created a new list where the
conversation can continue:

    distro-packaging-dev@...

To join, send an empty message to

    distro-packaging-dev-subscribe@...

Tom will add it to gmane.org shortly.

Changes to OpenJDK mailing lists

Two changes have been made to the configuration of the OpenJDK mailing
lists:

  - The "Reply-To" header is no longer added to messages posted to the
lists. Previously this header was added, pointing back to the list,
so that in most mail clients a reply would be sent, by default, to
the entire list rather than just to the sender. This was confusing
    to many people.

  - The "X-No-Archive" header is no longer added either. This header
was preventing archive services such as gmane.org from retaining
OpenJDK list messages for more than two weeks.

FYI the OpenJDK discuss list is already available on gmane.org:

    http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.java.openjdk.general

Additionally anyone subscribed to the discuss list has also been added
to the announce list so that infrequent announcements (such as this one)
reach the widest possible audience.
