JXLS - Cell Column Width / Row Height

Hi there,

Is there a way or a workaround to set the column width or row height?  For instance, i have set my column width to 1.19" in the template, but the generated file gives only 0.96".

Thanks

Problem with jx:forEach tag

Hi Jxls Team,

I am currently not able to display the values to the output file when using ReportManager.

As I have found out it does not support column names having Capitalized letters.

for example, I cannot get a value to the output sheet having column name "dDrafts" but I can get a value when the column name is changed to "ddrafts".

Why does this happen?

Thanks!
Vince

1.0 RC3 issue

Hi Leo,

I have been using 1.0RC1 since January with no real issues. However,
since upgrading to RC3 last week, some of my templates have started to
render incorrectly.

On the attached template, using RC3, the $[SUM()] cells from the first
tab expand properly. However, the $[SUM()] cells from the 3rd and 4th
tabs are not expanding to include all of the cells in the forEach block.

This same template, unchanged, works perfectly in RC1.

Can you think of any reason why this might be?

Thank you,
Aaron Bostick

jxls: iterating over array?

Hello,

is here any way to iterate an array? My bean just has int[] variable and I want to write its values. I can't use forEach tag, cause it works only with collections. Also I don't see any tag for simple iteration (say from 1 to n) which would also help (then I can use jexl to access array element by its index. Should I write my own tag for it, or something is missed by me?

thank you,
Max

[JXLS] CellParser Can't find matching tag pair for

Hi there,

Currently the template as found in attachment reports the following error.

"ERROR [CellParser] Can't find matching tag pair for <jx:forEach items="${dto.detailDTOs}" var="detailDTO">"

As a result, the outcome is as shown in output-error.xls (last record / row)

However, when i generate a single record for the same employee, it is fine. (Refer to output-ok.xls).

May i know what is the root cause for the following issue, and how i could rectify the above issue?

Thanks

Vertical rows

Hi,

Is it possible to generate a xls starting from a template
in which the rows are displayed vertically and not horizontally?

Instead of:
Name        |Age           |Payment     |Bonus
Elsa           |28              |100             |100
Ene            |30              |200             |100

it should look like this:

Name         |  Elsa  |   Ene
Age            |   28     |   30
Payment    |  100    |   200
Bonus        |   100   |   100

Thanks a lot,
