Re: How do I resolve this error.

Not sure what happened, but after tinkering around, the error no longer
appears.
I did not add a thing, just tried a few builds that failed and then tried to
run in normal and debug mode.

After a while of that, it magically healed.

Not a clue how or why.

Re: I am becoming crazy using netbears layout

Yes. JPanels help some but the problem may persist anyway.

automatic complie and then build of war file

The java web application is actually an application supplied by a software vendor. I've had to customise
this java web application to meet specific requirements. So, whenever the vendor releases
hotfixes/service packs and the customer applies these service packs, it updates various files in the
java web application but it isn't going to update my customised version so I have to manually do this and
recompile and redeploy the app into a new WAR file.

I therefore need a simple way (when I've left the project) for someone to update these files and then compile
and produce a new WAR file.

Is there any other way (other than Ant) to do this? Something simpler?

Thanks

Problem Creating Entity Classes From Database

Hi guys

i have the following problem.
I want to create entity classes from an oracle 10g database using netbeans 6.5.1.
I can connect to the database with an oracle thin driver (ojdbc14.jar).
Now i use the functionality create entitiy classes from database, select the database connection, select
some tables,
create a persistence unit but in the end Netbeans only creates Interfaces without any content. No members,
no annotation, just the interface which has the same name as the table.

Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong?

Thanks
Daniel

Re: This is possible? How?

Hi Daoud

I need help.

According to one of the links that you went to was still doubt.
I did step by step ...

private Lookup.Result userInfoResult = null;

    Lookup.Template template = new Lookup.Template(UserInformation.class);
    CentralLookup cl = CentralLookup.getDefault();

...
...

 <at> Override
    public void componentOpened() {
        // TODO add custom code on component opening

        userInfoResult = cl.lookup(template);
        userInfoResult.addLookupListener(new UserInformationListener());

        if(userInfoResult != null){
            System.out.println("EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE OK");
        }else{
            System.out.println("NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOK");
        }

    }

......

But when I perform this procedure in another package not work because you can not see the class
UserInformation and not the CentralLookup.
What am I doing wrong?

Profiler unavailable in 6.5.1

Anyone have any ideas why all the profiler menu items would be greyed
out on 6.5.1? I've rerun the calibration, tried different Java
platforms etc, no joy. Puzzling, because I've used it in the past,
prior to installing 6.5.1.

Re: Profiler unavailable in 6.5.1

They're not greyed out on my 6.5.1 - perhaps some config got corrupted
for you. Try to temporarily move your $HOME/.netbeans/ to somewhere
else, restart netbeans & open your project to see if Profile is still
greyed out. Based on that you can decide whether to move the old
directory back (and maintain your preferences) or start afresh :-)
