Allowed characters in dependency group names?

AnthillOS 1.8.1.303

I just created a Dependency Group called "TEST+ Promotions" and added
a project to the group. Now, when I attempt to Edit, Build or Delete
this group, I get a System Error, "Could not find DependencyGroup with
Name: TEST Promotions"

Are non-alphanumeric characters not allowed in project/group names?

Re: Allowed characters in dependency group names?

Looking at the code, there don't seem to be any explicit limitations.

But the name of the dependency group is converted into a filename and
back in the persistence, so it's possible that characters that are
illegal in file names on your host OS are removed from the filename.

Eric

RE: Allowed characters in dependency group names?

If you are on a *NIX system, remember that "test" and in some cases
"TEST" is a magic word - in other words it is a command. Though that is
probably not your problem, OS interactions most likely are. Especially
if you are spanning different OS types.

Re: Allowed characters in dependency group names?

I'm running on Win2K3 on NTFS. The file does exist as TEST+
Promotions.dependencies on the server, and it contains the one item I
put in the group.

For now, I just created another group called "TEST Plus Promotions".
