There was no need to add the permission, it worked fine without it
in Tomcat 4.1.10.

No reading of newly created .properties files.

        ReportedBy: mathis <at> uni.de

Tomcat claims to use the JDK I have had installed before I installed Tomcat on
my WinXP machine. Now that I installed Java Comm API (and normal apps are
working with it!!!) Tomcat seems not to use my standard JDK any more or he is
blind. The javax.comm.properties file has been in all directories of Tomcat and
of the JDK, but it wasn't recognised!
Is there a way to tell Tomcat another way which driver to use (I found none)??

Please email me back ( mathis <at> uni.de ), thank you...

I cannot get certificate attribute from request in servlet on server side
though SSL connection is established with client authentications needed.
request.getAttribiute("javax.servlet...") returns null. I'm using my own
custom SSLfactory using iaik libraries. Actually request.getattributesNames
returns empty enumeration. No servlet are running simultaneously, the servlet
itself is as simple as can be (actually almost sample code generated by
jbuilder). I'm running tomcat with ,y custom configuration file (can it be a
problem?)
