I'm afraid that the l10n effort for Kannada is currently completely
stuck.

Thejesh reached step 10 of the New Language Process (create an
account), I validated him for commit....but since March, I haven't got
more news.

Kannada Wikipedia event [Fwd]

       Kannada Wikipedia - the online encyclopedia in Kannada has been
there on the internet for almost 2 years now. Many folks know about
it, some of us contribute to the project regularly.

       But many Kannadigas do not yet know about this wonderful
project - some of them have had problems with enabling Unicode on
their machine; many of them need help editing the wiki.  To be of
assistance to all these people and to spread the word across about
Kannada Wikipedia, we're holding a unique event on Sunday, April 2nd,
2006, at Nayana Auditorium, J C Road at 4 PM.

       We invite all Kannadigas who take interest in seeing their
wonderful language grow on the Internet to participate in the event

why mozilla not supporting priting of kannada text

hi all,

i have fedora core 3 OS
and i installed nudi input method with Kedage font.
the Kannada text(font) is displaying properly in MOZILLA FIREFOX
but when i print html file (containing kannada text) it prints square
box's  
help me out to solve this problem

Podcasting the conversations with prominent personalities of Kannada
literature, discussing various issues, aspects of today's Kannada
language and Karnataka. What more? You get to listen to this free of
cost. (Please note that you might need to register if you aren't
already a member there)
