PuTTY? At least for you, this shouldn't be the case - it explicitly
provides KOI8 support, which is cyrillic as I understand. Of course, I
haven't tested that - although I can read cyrillic a little (though not
understand;), I don't have the neccessary support installed.

Might depend on what the server should do - and as you don't say where the
time went, it's kind of hard to tell whether git or ssh was the problem.
As to my knowledge, PuTTY is by far the easiest way to establish ssh access
from Windows machines. It also provides an scp utility, and has support for
key generation. Keys can be exported to Linux, too, of course.
There's even a Linux version available now, although I think there's
sufficient support for ssh under Linux already. But for Windows users used
to PuTTY it's probabely fine...

Yes.

Yes, a SDL or SFML backend for MSEgui is a possibility. Although an OS X
(Quartz) backend would be more appropriate IMO. Also the OpenGL backend could
be finished. But:
On handheld devices with touch screen and gestures one can not use the widgets

Re: Commit to gitorious mseuniverse?

To achieve correct SSH setup on non-latin environment, we need :
1) to create non-latin no-spaces [c:\Users\admin] NTFS-link to the
user's home [C:\Documents and Settings\Администратор]
2) to set envvar HOME to "target_of_this_link"
3) to put generated keys (id_rsa, id_rds.put) to "target_of_this_link\.ssh"

Login in your gitorious account. There is a button 'Manage SSH keys'. Click on
that button. A new page opens with a 'Add SSH key' button. Click on that
button. A new page opens with a memo edit field. Open the *public* key file
with a text editor. It should be base 64 encoded and look like:
"
ssh-rsa

AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAABIwAAAIEAsjCurYxdGg+1uQzHu2nDJk8N+eaA/012paGQm0Umq0/qDqX1R+ZoI896w0CF3m4fg5FmtniNrq9gK2zRbuerqzdUh3KoUhol3uBWZ3iFoJtBgPehd+1CJfpns6wVhJRgcWtSYHEEh9QcfXeNGYqiv6IEc19DVeyfufSYq9sz6Ik=
mse <at> linux
"
Copy-paste the text in the memo edit. Click on the 'Save' button.
BTW there is a FAQ on gitorious:
https://gitorious.org/about/faq

That has nothing to do with git or SVN, that is how SSH works. :-)
You could try the https protocoll on Gitorious maybe it uses username and
password instead of public key submission, I don't know.

Nope, in order to push to Gitorious the SSH protocoll must be used, the push
URL is:
git@...:mseuniverse/mseuniverse.git

That's the point, we can ignore about new technology in hardware if we
use 3rd party layer as SDL or SFML.
I read in their forum, most users use SDL and SFML for games
develpment and entertainment app, and they make requests about new
technology in the market. SDL implements this category in version 2,
multi touch, gesturing, etc. SFML in progress.

Some GUI platform make their GUI to be run on everywhere including
smartphone. Qt, Lazarus with custom drawn interface, Xpower++, WinDEV,
CodeName for Netbeans, and I'm sure most GUI platform would provide
new technology as multi touch input. And they use their own widget,
and I have try some demo app from them, and it's good for smartphone
and table. I think this is trend and challenge for future developer.

Re: What's about AGGPAS?

Most popular OS vendor add many features for tablet and smartphone.
Windows 8 is tablet oriented, Ubuntu, Blackberry with Playback, Apple
with iOS, Android, Maemo, etc. Even native app can run on browser
(https://developers.google.com/native-client/). That's means the
future trend is operating OS with finger only, without keyboard and
mouse, everything connected through finger. And business should be
accessed anywhere, everywhere.

And the potential of MSEgui to be player in cross platform is very
possible with independent GUI, but still need backend for every OS.

I think Mainframe->PC->Notebook->Netbook->Ultrabook and Convertible
Laptop->Tablet->Smartphone is roadmap of OS until now. The number of
OS users increase from left to right.
