Hi Jan,

I'm new to Horde, so I may be corrected by someone with more experience :). I
think you're seeing that because horde is compressing the output of it's html
output. If you are having trouble syncing, try putting:

$conf['compress_pages'] = false;

in your horde conf.php files. By default it's set to true.

No worries about the english - keep asking if you don't understand my answer
and we'll do the same with you.

Funambol connector Horde

I posted on the list a couple of days ago a question about sugar crm
connector, is it suppose to work with horde?

In a more general view, how would you synchronize calendar, emails, etc. in
horde with a php software?

Problem with Outlook tasks and notes synchronization

I have been trying to sync outlook and horde, but tasks and notes have been
problematic so far..

I first tried with the latest funambol outlook connector, and with this one,
no sync for tasks and notes.
I also tried outlook connector 3.0.15, and with this one, tasks and notes
only synchronized in one way, Outlook -> Horde.
No error during sync.

Logs about tasks and notes are attached sync.

I have played with the parameters but nothing helps, I don't know where to
search since no errors are displayed in the log...
Any ideas?

Hello Horde Mailinglist,

i get this php error when syncing 1278 Contacts:

PHP Catchable fatal error:  Object of class PEAR_Error could not be
converted to string in /var/www/horde/lib/SyncML/Backend.php on line 291

I use Horde Groupware Webmail 1.0.1 with apache2, php5 and mysql.
Memory limit is set to 512M and test.php says no problems at all.

Is this a bug or a configuration fault?

Hi Max,

I'm not sure what the problem you are experiencing is, however...

In the wiki/faq (http://wiki.horde.org/SyncHowTo), the developers have said
that you need to be running the most recent version from the cvs repository.
If you are not doing that - I'm not sure you will get a response from the
developers. That's probably the first step you should take. The code is still
in development (I'm running the latest CVS version and can't get it to work
either!).

Hi Jamie,

i don't really want to run Dev version in a production env. With stable
1.01 the syncing works good with calendar, notes and tasks. Just the
contacts stop every time at the same card.

Is their any  chance to get the CVS Syncml backend working with the rest
of horde-stable? If not i will test the dev version.

Confirmed here too.

Any suggestions on where to begin looking for the solution? What goes wrong
here? It seems as if it can't decide which of the notes/tasks that should be
synched and which has allready been synched earlier. (I base this on the
fact that my log sometimes show "5 total objects, 0 to sync" or similar when
I've added five new tasks.)
