Hi Pierre,

try ->Options->Address Book->Address Books

and select "My Addressbook" in the first list box (labelled "This will 
be the default address book when adding or importing contacts.")

Hips,

I've been following sync in horde a while now, been waiting it to 
complete enough to take it into own use. Now I thought to give it a try, 
and I got little confusing results.

I have horde 3.1-rc2, imp 4.1-rc2, kronolith 2.1-rc2 and bunch of other 
modules installed and working quite much as expected. I have downloaded 
snapshot framework-FRAMEWORK_3-2006-02-07.tar.gz and followed 
instructions of http://wiki.horde.org/SyncHowTo and installed new 
SyncML, WB_XML and iCalendar over my horde 3.1-rc2.

I try to sync just kronolith, that is most important for me, so 
concentrated on that. If I use my Nokia 9500, I get following results:

I have the same problem with my Nokia 9500. Somehow horde doesn't  
recognize the username the phone is sending.

But Sync4J Outlook Client is working and running. I'm syncing contact  
and calendar data, but I don't use any domain information in my  
username.

I'm using the CVS version of Horde (HEAD).

Hi Jonas,

can you send me the wbxml files directly to my mailbox (the mailing list 
strips non-textual attachments).

Please be aware that username and password are encoded in this data. You 
should use a dummy password. authorization doesn't seem to work anyhow atm.

I'll have a look and try to figure out what's going on.

Nokia 9500 WBXML Problems

Hi,

I've encountered some problems with the Nokia 9500 WBXML encoding. At 
least for the sample Joonas sent me (attached), wbxml2xml is unable to 
decode the wbxml. It says "wbxml2xml failed: Unexpected End Of WBXML 
Buffer".

Can anybody with a Nokia phone verify this? Try a sync and then run 
wbxml2xml (available at http://libwbxml.aymerick.com/) on any of the 
syncml_client*.wbxml files in /tmp/sync.

Nokia 9500 - RC3

Hi,
I am running Horde 3.1-RC3, IMP 4.1-RC3, Turba H3 (2.1-RC2) and  
Kronolith H3 (2.1-RC3). Using a Nokia 9500
Syncing with calendar and todo list seems to be working great (have  
not testing anything too stressfull)!
However, I am having a problem syncing the addressbook and I was  
wondering if anyone else had a similar problem or a solution:)

When syncing with the addressbook - most of the entries appear without a name.
3 entries appeared that did have a name (these 3 happened to have got  
onto my phone test syncing with Sync4J, and are different from the  
normal entries created on the phone...). Looking at the log file, the  
only difference between the three test entries (which worked) and the  
other entries was the FN field.
The ones which show no name in Turba did not send a FN field in the  
VCARD. Even though did have N fields with names.
The other ones had FN fields and N fields with names.

Any advice on how I can fix this - or where in horde this gets added  
to te datatree or decoded?

FN is set from Turba's 'name' attribute, N from 'lastname' and 'firstname'.

I upgraded my test enviroment to RC3 stage too, but didn't get any 
further success. What kind of firmware your 9500 has? I have following: 
V 05.22(1) 03-06-2005 RA-2. Find out by *#0000# in front keypad.

Perhaps I should try completely fresh install once again, but it puzzles 
me a bit why username isn't shown in logs at all. What kind of settings 
you use with your syncing profile?

syncml datatree group name

Hi Chuck,

your change to Backend.php

http://cvs.horde.org/diff.php/framework/SyncML/SyncML/Backend.php?r1=1.16&r2=1.17&ty=u

contains this:

-        $params = array_merge($params, array('group' => 'syncml'));
+        $params = array_merge($params, array('group' => 'syncml.'));

This results in a new groupname for the syncml datatree. Is this a typo 
or intentionally? All existing sync metadata is lost with this change.

If you don't mind I'd like to change it back to 'syncml' only.
