Problem with LDAP

Hi all,

I've got a problem with kronolith (2.1.4) where LDAP works for Groups and
general horde authentication but the list to add individual users to the
calendar is empty. The LDAP Group list is correct. And as I said, login
via LDAP works. Any pointers?

Thanks

category colors in the "years tab"

Hello!

Is it possible to display different category colors in the year tab of
kronolith?
I am a member of a group which shares a public calendar for holiday
advertisement and there it would be nice that everybody has a
different color.

TIA, Heiko.

private events in shared calendars through ics

hi
i noticed that if you look at a shared calendar with an ics client
throught the rpc.php that the user is ignored and it only checks for any
authorisation?! because subscribing to calendars from other user shows
the complete events even if they are private. in the horde web frontend
they are correctly shown as private events. how is it possible to get
the ics to only show your personal calendar with private events and
shared calendars with a "private event" kind of title? this is very
very important to keep the privacy of our users.

thank you for the help

No, because the year view doesn't show individual events.

But that would be nice or not?
Maybe in a future release?

TIA Heiko.

I think you're missing the point. Where would you show the colors?
What if there are 5 events with 5 different colors on a day?

Make 5 slices?

But I don't know if this is possible with php. Or maybe mix the colors
(so you know overlapping exists).

It's not about what's possible with PHP, it's what's possible in a web
page, and also, beyond what's possible, what's a good idea. We're
already showing 365 (or 366) different pieces of information there; I
would guess that most people, especially when viewing multiple
people's calendars, will have more than one event on most days. So
that's over 700 pieces of information.

I think it just starts to get silly. Now if you want to write a custom
view that only shows vacation events, then sure, colors might make
perfect sense.

But how to write a custom view?

TIA Heiko.
