then i do not see the problem. You just have to prepare initial .po  
files  for you language as described in paper on translation.

 From my experience - to make the work easier  I am making a copy of  
directory tree containing locales in interest by running such command  
(after the initialization of locale for all modules present, if  
applicable):

#!/bin/sh
find . -type d -name 'lv' -print |xargs -I xx cp -R xx --parents -t  
./horde_git_lv

(lv - my locale)
after it i advice to sweep up existing .mo files in the copy of  
locale-tree by running

find . -type f -name *.mo -exec rm -rf {} \;

on it.

volunteering for Dutch translations

Dear Sir/Madam,

First of all: Thank you for making a great piece of software like Horde open
source. My customers have been using it with great pleasure.  I recently
upgraded to Horde Groupware edition 4.01 and I noticed that the Dutch
translations are not fully completed yet.  I would like to volunteer to work
on these translations, as a contribution to the project.

My native language is Dutch and I speak fluent English as well.

Can you tell me how I can apply to volunteer for the translations project?

horde-imp greek translation

I've a new horde (3.3.8) installation with IMP version H3 (4.3.7) on a Solaris 10 server.
I'm trying to make work the greek translation, but with no success.
I follow the Translations don't work documentation.

Step 3 (Get a string to translate) is not working.
Step 4 (Does the local Horde file work?) is partial working:
  a.. Assuming that you have put the translated Horde file in...
  I GET:
  Message (NOT OK)
  b.. Create a file in the horde directory, langtest.php:
  I GET:
  Memory exhausted (NOT OK)
  Μήνυμα (OK)
  Μήνυμα (OK)
Could you please help?

Don't they work at all, or only partially? Do other translations work?

The last two are the most important, because they mean that a) gettext  
is working in PHP and b) Horde translations are working too. Thus I  
have now idea why it won't work with a full Horde application.

Did you read the "Solaris" section to see if it gets you anything helpful?
