Attachment as Link.

Dear All,

If I am attaching a file to be sent as link, whether attach_size_limit
parameter which is set for IMP will still hold. Or it is limited only
by php.ini file parameter.

I prefer, attach_size_limit is not looked if the attachment is to be
sent as a link.

Please clarify.

Regards,

Anant Athavale.

Probably not. You would need to create a new theme, since I believe
all existing files are overwritten when upgrading via PEAR.

FWIW, that icon is from the Silk Icons set used for all the other
icons in the silver theme (http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/silk/).
If you want to suggest another icon to use, we would listen to all
suggestions.

So, it looks like it is using the user_red icon (hence the pink), perhaps it
could be changed to just the user icon. Same icon, just with a blue shirt or
maybe user_gray?

Interestingly enough, that is the user_female icon
http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/silk/previews/index_abc.png - I'd suggest the status_online
icon would be more gender neutral.

I went with the basic user.png icon (blue shirt), over Simon's
suggestion of status_online, since it most closely matches the

Upgrade question

I have a server that I have been updating from cvs using FRAMEWORK_3 with these options: horde framework imp
ingo kronolith mnemo nag turba

I'd like to update everything to the current. I assume that it's now FRAMEWORK_4. On the old cvs browser you
could see the tags that's available. Which label should I be using?

Also, the most important question, can I upgrade 4 in place over three without it destroying my config
files? i.e. update in place, go to admin, make the changes, then update the config from there or will the app
break because of breaking config changes.

TIA,

Gary Smith

There is no more CVS. See: http://www.horde.org/development/git

Re: Upgrade question

Some time ago one of the guys in the horde channel sent me this snippet of code to pull the files from CVS. I'm
looking to do the same from GIT now. Anyway, my knowledge of GIT is limited to that fact that I just installed it.

Looking at GIT, it appears that it will drop the files pretty much the same way CVS does (do a clone the first
time, then to a pull each time after that).

Three questions:

1) is the a particular label that I'd want to use. I want current stable, not latest dev
2) could I continue to use similar logic below, basically to automate the pull for current stable?
3) will my config's be broken from going from FW_3 to current?

Basically this is the snippet portion I use to update horde right now:

export CVSROOT=:pserver:cvsread <at> anoncvs.horde.org:/repository
echo "password is horde"
cvs login

cvs co -r FRAMEWORK_3 horde framework
cd /$BASE/download/horde/
cvs co -r FRAMEWORK_3 imp ingo kronolith mnemo nag turba
cd /$BASE/download/framework

pear channel-discover pear.horde.org

./install-packages.php -d /usr/share/php5/PEAR

Correct.

Can't quite do this in git. When we package a release, we add a tag
to git that indicates the exact state of the development tree at the
time of packaging. So, e.g., if you wanted to checkout the tree at
the release of horde-4.0.9, you could go into the git tree and run the
following command:

git checkout horde-4.0.9

However, since all of our applications now live in a single repo, it
isn't possible to check them out separately. So the above example may
have imp in a state slightly before it was released (although
generally applications are packaged/released at the same time, so the
above should almost certainly represent the state of the other
applications released at the same time as Horde 4.0.9).

To upgrade to the next release, you would have to manually do "git
checkout horde-4.0.10" after it is released. There is no "Stable
