Lost recomposed message after logging out

Several people have asked why messages being composed and not sent get 
lost if the
user was logged out. In older versions of imp, the software would let 
the user know that
a message was being composed when logged out and bring back the 
composition window
with the text of the message as it was when the user was logged out.

I have figured out the reason why the new software no longer behaves in 
this manner. Line 53 of
imp/lib/base.php has the following line:

$compose_page = (isset($_SESSION['imp']['viewmode']) && 
$_SESSION['imp']['viewmode'] == 'imp') && strstr($_SERVER['PHP_SELF'], 
'compose.php');$compose_page = (isset($_SESSION['imp']['viewmode']) && 
$_SESSION['imp']['viewmode'] == 'imp') && strstr($_SERVER['PHP_SELF'], 
'compose.php');

$compose_page will always be false when a user logs out since 
$_SESSION['imp'] will be NULL, therefore
the $RECOMPOSE variable will never get set to true on lines 102 and 122. 
Since $RECOMPOSE is never
set to TRUE, the code to display the current composed message will never 
happen.

I hope this helps in resolving the issue.

Hi all,

Does somebody have any experience adding company logo either in jpf or png to the signature/trailer field?
I have seen some same questions in the wiki/forum but no response at all..

Any help will be appreciated..

I also want to know, how it is done.  My understanding is that, it  
should be possible through stationeries.  But, I have not yet tried  
it.  I plan to test it when I upgrade to Horde 3.3.

Hi All

I'm a bit unclear - is this a feature that is supposed to work?  I've 
not found any docs (yet) as to how to enable this.  For some of my users 
the lack of being able to insert graphics is going to be a deal-killer.

Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction?

Hi,

I also clearly don't know.  I am assuming this could be the solution.   
Because, in option, there is option to create new Form Stationary.  It  
has some relation to Signature where %c and %s options can be used. %s  
stands for signature.

If anybody can tell more about this, it will be better.

Stationery will not let you do this.  If you want to do this, you  
should create a template using the HTML in the compose screen, save it  
as a draft, and then you can go to the draft folder and resume  
composing the message.

They don't support PGP/MIME?  Wow.

Nobody should be sending plaintext OpenPGP messages anymore.  It was  
deprecated 10+ years ago.
