lost horde imp filters, address book & personalities

We just migrated our server from a plesk 7.5.1 to a new server with plesk 7.5.4
we were using horde imp for webmail on the old server.

Once the migration was finished
the new plesk 7.5.4 horde imp webmail
lost all out filters, address book and personalities.

All the mail came over fine,
but bringing over the horde database - somehow did not restore the
filters, address book and personalities.

the place that manages our server said something about the directory
structure being different for horde on plesk 7.5.4
on plesk 7.5.1 horde had it's own directory
in 7.5.4 he doesn't see it's own directory

can anyone help here.

more info: lost horde imp filters, address book & personalities

My information on our problem
our old machine had Plesk 7.5.1 with horde 2.2.5 and imp 3.2.3
the new machine has Plesk 7.5.4 with horde 3.0.5 and imp 4.0.3

It appears from the release notes regarding the Filters

"Filtering code has been removed from IMP. To have the same features as the
old code, you should install the Ingo_ module. See the INSTALL_ file for more
information.

.. _Ingo: http://www.horde.org/ingo/
.. _INSTALL: ?f=INSTALL.html"

This explains how to get the filtering features - but how do we
transfer our old filters from our old imp installation to the new imp
installation.

imp cvs login/folders problem/patch

Horde: 3.2-cvs
Imp: H3 (4.2-cvs)

Source: courier (0.47-4)
Version: 3.0.8-4
Depends: courier-imap (>= 1.3.7-3), courier-ssl (>= 0.47), openssl

Recently i have been having a problem using IMP CVS and reading folder
information (with courier imap server).

I found that hacking my config to use the following namespace information
and patching the imp/lib/Session.php (as attached) gets my folders to
appear.

I'm aware that that I am using the namespace array value incorrectly, but
I'm not sure how I should patch the IMP code such that I can use something
like:

    'namespace' => array('INBOX.')

instead and get it to set the other array values (below)

servers.php

$servers['imap'] = array(
    'name' => 'example',
    'server' => 'localhost',
    'hordeauth' => true,
    'protocol' => 'imap/notls',
    'port' => 143,

IMP message Charset

Hi all, I see that my imp installation use charset UTF-8; some of my
users read mails using ISO-8859-15 and so see strange characters on
incoming mails... It is not graceful so I decided to let horde imp use
ISO-8859-15 too... To do so I edited /horde/config/nls.php in this way:

$nls['defaults']['language'] = 'it_IT';
$nls['defaults']['charset'] = 'ISO-8859-15';

I though it was the right way, but messages are still sent using UTF-8...

Anyone can help me to let horde imp use ISO-8859-15 or 8859-1 for
compose messages?

Thanks.

Imp 4.0.4 message search problem

Hello. I'm having difficulty getting message search working correctly
with Imp 4.0.4. Our old server has Imp 3.2.5 and search works just fine
on that. If i perform an identical search on the old Imp and the new
Imp (search all mailboxes for messages with "testing" in the subject),
the old version lists a number of search results (as expected), but the
new Imp just displays "No messages matched your search." Is there
something i can check to figure what the problem is? Or is there a
configuration setting that would enable search to work correctly?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Fwd: [core] Email Interface

----- Forwarded message from drero <at> hotmail.com -----
     Date: Tue, 03 Jan 2006 16:13:18 -0500
     From: DreRo Realty <drero <at> hotmail.com>
  Subject: [core] Email Interface
       To: security <at> horde.org, support <at> horde.org, sales <at> horde.org

To Whom it May Concern:

I currently use the email interface IMP or whatever through RegisterFly.com.
   We've come accustomed to using the interface and like it alot however,
RegisterFly's servers or whatever loses our emails quite frequently, where
we won't receive emails from people for hours (if at all) or emails we send
out never reach the recipients intermittently. In addition, their customer
service is arrogant and unhelpful at best.

Over the past month, we've tried other email hosts but don't like their
interfaces. Can you tell me who else resells your IMP/Horde interface,
please. I'm having a hard time finding out my own via search engines, etc.
Thanks so much.
