So, if you send yourself an email with a 2.4Meg attachment and then try to
forward that to another account, you can't recreate this?

Small bug in generateMbox

There is a small bug in the generateMbox() function in lib/Folders.php.
The following code is used to generate the "From " message separate line
in an mbox file:

                   $date = date('D M j H:i:s Y', $h->udate);
                   $body .= 'From ' . $from . ' ' . $date . "\n";

Which generates a From line like:

  From foo <at> oregonstate.edu Tue Sep 2 09:18:39 2003

However, Pine will only "see" the message if the day of the month has a
leading space. The correct form for the line should be:

  From foo <at> oregonstate.edu Tue Sep  2 09:18:39 2003

(note the extra space between "Sep" and "2")

I don't see any direct way to do this with php's date() function. The
only possibility I can come up with for adding a leading space would be to
use a sprintf, maybe like so:

   $date = sprintf('%s %2s %s', date('D M', $h->udate), date('j', $h->udate), date('H:i:s Y', $h->udate));

I've tested this in our production environment and it works correctly.

Could someone apply this to CVS, or suggest a better fix?

Well, strftime() supports exactly what we need:

Just tried with a 3014 KB attachment. Using SQL VFS to store attachments.
Although PHP & Postgres eat up memory at a prodigious rate (munch munch -
it was fun to watch the memory being consumed via top while this was
happening), everything worked without a problem.

Just to clarify, you are running the CVS version of IMP, right? Not one
of the 'official/stable releases'?

Errors when displaying mail

Hello List,
Im using:
SuSE-Linux 8.2
apache-1.3.27-38
mod_php-4.3.1
mod_php-core-4.3.1
horde-2.2.4
imp-3.2.2

When viewing Inbox, Sent or Trash listviews and selecting one message
with a doubleclick on subject or sender the message will either be
displayed with the following message at the top:
"Notice: Undefined offset: -6 in /srv/www/htdocs/horde/imp/message.php
on line 273"
The offsetvalue depends on which message one wants to open and varies
with values like -1, -6 or 11 in my case.
or
the message will not be displayed at all with the following message in
the normal "Errorline" in the inbox view::
"There was an error viewing the requested message."

Any hints?
Greetings from germany

Help - can't view html (attachments or inline)

I sent this message before, but with a bad subject line. No one
responded. Trying again...

I've upgraded to IMP 3.2.2 and I'm having trouble getting html to appear
inline when reading messages.
I have

   $mime_drivers['imp']['html']['inline'] = true;

in mime_drivers.php

Do I need to do anything else? I know it isn't recommended, but I want
to enable inline html it anyway.

-------------------------------

That said, when html messages show up they are made into attachments. I
can view these in Mozilla, but in IE there is just a blank screen.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks...

Empty Trash button clears inbox?

Hi,

I was in my trash folder, and hit the empty trash button. It emptied everthing
in my trash, then everthing in my inbox was moved to the trash folder. Odd huh?
I have tested this a few times and it works every time.

You give us *no* clue what version you're running, but I'm willing to be that
it's an out of date CVS checkout. You should update again - *always*, before
reporting bugs - as it's already been fixed.

With CVS HEAD, yes, that is out of date. Yes, the problem has been fixed (not by
me, though). And if you're having trouble following http://horde.org/source/ to
update your checkout, then you should probably reconsider using the HEAD code.

Is the cvs from the 28th of oct considered out of date? I don't know how to
update it, and I tried following the limited instructios, but I can't figure it
out. So you fixed this problem?
