"Select for diff" feature

Does anyone use the "select for diff" feature a lot? I'm looking for
things to streamline/trim and it seems to be a bit awkward and I
realized I don't ever use it. I'm going to move the arbitrary diff
form up to the top of the page and try to make it a bit
snazzier/easier to use; I think this will make "select for diff"
redundant. Any objections/comments?

I use it a lot, and I think it's much more comfortable to use than
having to enter the revision number manually. Especially since I often
browse through the changlogs to find the correct revision I want to
diff.
