Horde 5.0.0alpha1

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of the Horde
Application Framework version 5.0.0.

The Horde Application Framework is a flexible, modular, general-purpose web
application framework written in PHP. It provides an extensive array of
components that are targeted at the common problems and tasks involved in
developing modern web applications. It is the basis for a large number of
production-level web applications, notably the Horde Groupware suites.  
For more
information on Horde or the Horde Groupware suites, visit  
http://www.horde.org.

IMPORTANT! This is a preview version that should not be used on production
systems. This version is not feature complete yet and there are likely to be
bugs. You should not use this preview version with existing production data.

We encourage widespread testing and feedback via the mailing lists or our bug
tracking system. Updated translations are very welcome, though some strings
might still change before the release candidates are prepared.

Ingo H5 (3.0.0alpha1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of the  
Ingo Email
Filter Rules Manager version H5 (3.0.0).

Ingo is an email-filter management application. It is fully internationalized,
integrated with Horde and the IMP Webmail client, and supports both  
server-side
(Sieve, Procmail, Maildrop) and client-side (IMAP) message filtering. For more
information on Ingo, visit http://www.horde.org/apps/ingo.

The major changes compared to the Ingo version H4 are:
     * Completely redesigned user interface.
     * Added placeholder variables to vacation messages.
     * Small improvements.

Turba H5 (4.0.0alpha1)

Contact Manager version H5 (4.0.0).

Turba is the Horde contact management application. Leveraging the Horde
framework to provide seamless integration with IMP and other Horde
applications, it supports storing contacts in SQL, LDAP, Kolab, and IMSP
address books. For more information on Turba, visit

Mail Program (IMP) version H5 (6.0.0).

IMP, the Internet Mail Program, is one of the most popular and widely deployed
open source webmail applications in the world. It allows universal, web-based
access to IMAP and POP3 mail servers and provides Ajax, mobile and traditional
interfaces with a rich range of features normally found only in desktop email
clients. For more information on IMP, visit http://www.horde.org/apps/imp.

IMPORTANT! This is a preview version that should not be used on production
systems. This version is not feature complete yet and there are likely to be
bugs. You should not use this preview version with existing production data.

     * Default to UTF-8 for all e-mail messages.
     * Signature is now added during sending.
     * Require JavaScript in traditional mode.
     * Allow expiration date when generating personal PGP keys.
     * Many further improvements.

Sesha H5 (1.0.0alpha1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of the Sesha
Inventory Manager Application version H5 (1.0.0).

Sesha is the Horde Inventory Manager. It is an application designed to track a
multitude of items. It can organize stockable items into multiple categories,
each with unique properties.
