IMP H4 (5.0.12) (final)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the final release of the Internet Mail
Program (IMP) version H4 (5.0.12).

IMP, the Internet Mail Program, is one of the most popular and widely deployed
open source webmail applications in the world. It allows universal, web-based
access to IMAP and POP3 mail servers and provides Ajax, mobile and traditional
interfaces with a rich range of features normally found only in desktop email
clients. For more information on IMP, visit http://www.horde.org/apps/imp.

The major changes compared to the IMP version H4 (5.0.11) are:

     * Improved display and switching of reply method in dynamic view.
     * Added display and switching of reply method to standard view.
     * Improved button design in dynamic view.
     * Added filter for automatically generated messages.
     * Added ability to hide deleted messages to dynamic view.
     * Small bugfixes and improvements.

Kronolith H4 (3.0.10) (final)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the final release of the Kronolith
Calendar Application version H4 (3.0.10).

Kronolith is the Horde calendar application. It provides web-based calendars
backed by a SQL database or a Kolab server. Supported features include  
Ajax and
mobile interfaces, shared calendars, remote calendars, invitation management
(iCalendar/iTip), free/busy management, resource management, alarms, recurring
events, and a sophisticated day/week view which handles arbitrary numbers of

Turba H4 (3.0.9) (final)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the final release of the Turba Contact
Manager version H4 (3.0.9).

Turba is the Horde contact management application. Leveraging the Horde
framework to provide seamless integration with IMP and other Horde
applications, it supports storing contacts in SQL, LDAP, Kolab, and IMSP

Whups H4 (2.0-ALPHA1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of the Whups
Ticket Tracking System version H4 (2.0-ALPHA1).

Whups is a Horde ticket-tracking application. It is very flexible in design,
and can be used for help-desk requests, tracking software development, and
anything else that needs to track a set of requests and their status.

This is a preview version that should not be used on production systems.  This
version is considered feature complete but there might still be a few bugs.
You should not use this preview version over existing production data.

We encourage widespread testing and feedback via the mailing lists or our bug
tracking system. Updated and new translations are very welcome, though some
strings might still change before the final release.

Major changes compared to the Whups H3 versions are:
     * Updated to work with Horde 4.
     * Improved mail filter for converting email messages to tickets.
     * More flexible and extended notification messages.
     * Small bugfixes and improvements.

Wicked H4 (1.0-ALPHA1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of the Wicked
wiki application version H4 (1.0-ALPHA1).

Wicked is a wiki application for the Horde Framework. It uses PEAR's Text_Wiki
library for the actual wiki markup parsing and rendering. It supports Creole,
Mediawiki, Tiki Wiki, and its own markup engine.

This is a preview version that should not be used on production systems.  This
version is considered feature complete but there might still be a few bugs.
You should not use this preview version over existing production data.

We encourage widespread testing and feedback via the mailing lists or our bug
tracking system. Updated and new translations are very welcome, though some
strings might still change before the final release.

Passwd H4 (4.0-ALPHA1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of the Passwd
Horde password changing application version H4 (4.0.0-ALPHA1).

Passwd provides support for changing passwords via the Horde authentication
system or various password backends.

This is a preview version that should not be used on production systems.  This
version is considered feature complete but there might still be a few bugs.
You should not use this preview version over existing production data.

We encourage widespread testing and feedback via the mailing lists or our bug
tracking system. Updated and new translations are very welcome, though some
strings might still change before the final release.

The following password backends have not been tested with Horde 4 at all yet
and need some testing feedback: Unix expect scripts, the Unix  
smbpasswd command
for SMB/CIFS passwords, Kolab, ADSI, Pine, Serv-U FTP, VMailMgr, vpopmail.

The major changes compared to Passwd version H3 are:
     * Updated to work with Horde 4.
     * Added driver for Horde authentication system.
     * Added Latvian translation.
     * Small bugfixes and improvements.

Gollem H4 (2.0-ALPHA1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of the Gollem
File Manager version H4 (2.0-ALPHA1).

Gollem is a web-based file manager, providing the ability to fully manage a
hierarchical file system stored in a variety of backends such as a SQL
database, as part of a real filesystem, or on FTP, Samba or SSH servers.

This is a preview version that should not be used on production systems.  This
version is considered feature complete but there might still be a few bugs.
