Horde 3.1.4-RC1

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the Horde
Application Framework version 3.1.4.

The Horde Application Framework is a modular, general-purpose web application
framework written in PHP. It provides an extensive array of libraries that are
targeted at the common problems and tasks involved in developing modern web
applications.

Barring any problems, this code will be released as Horde 3.1.4.
Testing is requested and comments are encouraged.
Updated translations would also be great.

Major changes compared to Horde 3.1.3 are:
    * Rewritten Oracle session handler.
    * Added vTimezone support to iCalendar API and ORG support to vCard API.
    * Improved virtual domain support for Cyrus SQL authentication driver.
    * Improved Samba authentication driver.
    * Improved automatic webroot detection.
    * Improved signature dimming.
    * Improved compatibility of generated ZIP files.
    * Fixed validation of some email distribution lists.
    * Several Kolab related fixes.
    * Lots of small fixes and improvements.
    * Updated Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan, Dutch, French, German, Portuguese
      and Traditional Chinese translations.

IMP H3 (4.1.4-RC1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the IMP
Webmail Client version H3 (4.1.4).

IMP, the Internet Messaging Program, is one of the most popular webmail
applications available.  It allows universal, web-based access to IMAP and
POP3 mail servers and provides a full range of features normally found only in
desktop email clients.

Barring any problems, this code will be released as IMP H3 (4.1.4).
Testing is requested and comments are encouraged.
Updated translations would also be great.

Major changes compared to the IMP H3 (4.1.3) version are:
    * Turned mailto: links in HTML emails into IMP compose links.
    * Small improvements to the iCalendar/iTip handler.
    * Improved compatibility with Internet Explorer 7.
    * Several small bug fixes and improvements.
    * Updated Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan, Dutch, German, Portuguese and
      Traditional Chinese translations.

Passwd H3 (3.0.1-RC1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the
Passwd Horde password changing application version H3 (3.0.1).

Passwd provides fairly complete support for changing passwords via Poppassd,
LDAP, Unix expect scripts, the Unix smbpasswd command for SMB/CIFS passwords,
Kolab, ADSI, Pine, Serv-U FTP, VMailMgr, vpopmail, and SQL passwords.

Barring any problems, this code will be released as Passwd H3 (3.0.1).
Testing is requested and comments are encouraged.
Updated translations would also be great.

The major changes compared to the Passwd version H3 (3.0) are:
    * Small improvements to the sql, poppassd, kolab, and expect drivers.
    * Added Japanese and Slovenian translations.
    * Updated Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Finnish, German and Italian
      translations.

Vacation H3 (3.0.1-RC1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candiate of the
Vacation Auto-Responding Manager version H3 (3.0.1).

Vacation is a Horde module for managing user e-mail "vacation notices" or
"auto-responders." It works via a local vacation program and the .forward
style forwarding mechanism supported by several popular mailers.

Right now, Vacation provides fairly complete support for managing .forward
style vacation notices on Sendmail or Courier mail based systems via an FTP
transport. It also has some support for LDAP, Qmail, and Exim SQL based
servers.

Barring any problems, this code will be released as Vacation H3 (3.0.1).
Testing is requested and comments are encouraged.
Updated translations would also be great.

The major changes compared to the Vacation H3 (3.0) version are:
    * Added support for Berkeley DB 4 vacation databases.
    * Allowed users to set their From: address.
    * Improved configuration for LDAP searches.
    * Added Slovenian translation.
    * Updated German and Traditional Chinese translations.
