PEAR package 1.3 for Horde available

I just uploaded new packages to the FTP server that provide all PEAR
packages necessary for running all Horde modules (stable and development).

You might find these packages useful if you have problems installing or
upgrading PEAR or just don't want to run through the PEAR installation
process.

Please note that this package is NOT a complete PEAR install. That means
that you can't install new or upgrade existing packages with the pear
command.  It only contains those packages needed by Horde.

You will find .tar.gz, .tar.bz2 and .zip versions at
ftp://ftp.horde.org/pub/pear/

Horde 2.2.5-RC1

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the
Horde Application Framework version 2.2.5.

The Horde Application Framework is a general-purpose web application
framework in PHP, providing classes for dealing with preferences,
compression, browser detection, connection tracking, MIME handling and
more.

Barring any problems, this code will be released as Horde 2.2.5.
Testing is requested and comments are encouraged.
Updated translations would also be great.

Changes in this release:
    - Small fix for file downloads with Mozilla.
    - Added translations: Galician and Indonesian.
    - Updated translations: Dutch and Italian.

IMP 3.2.3-RC1

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the
IMP Webmail Client version 3.2.3.

IMP is the Internet Messaging Program. IMP allows universal, Web-based access
to IMAP and POP3 servers and provides full support for sending and receiving
attachments, and many other features normally only found in desktop email
clients.

Barring any problems, this code will be released as IMP 3.2.3.
Testing is requested and comments are encouraged.
Updated translations would also be great.

Changes in this release:
    - Avoid breaking page layout if watching HTML messages inline.
    - Keep linebreaking and apostrophes in the spellchecker on all platforms.
    - Remove HTML tags showing up in some error messages.
    - Added translations: Galician and Indonesian.
    - Updated translations: Dutch, German and Italian.

Turba 1.2.2-RC1

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the
Turba Contact Manager version 1.2.2.

Turba is the Horde contact management application. It is a production level
address book, and makes heavy use of the Horde framework to provide
integration with IMP and other Horde applications.

Kronolith 1.1.1-RC1

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the
Kronolith Calendar Application version 1.1.1.

Kronolith is the Horde calendar application. It provides Web-based calendars
backed by either a SQL database or by the MCAL library. Supported features
include alarms, recurring events, and a sophisticated day/week view which
handles arbitrary numbers of overlapping events.

Barring any problems, this code will be released as Kronolith 1.1.1.
Testing is requested and comments are encouraged.
Updated translations would also be great.

Changes in this release:
    - Allow creation of new event categories from the event edit screen.
    - Added translations: Arabic (Syrian)
    - Updated translations: Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish,

Web-based notes and freeform text, similar to the PalmOS Note application. It

Nag Task List Manager version 1.1.1.

Nag is a Web-based application built upon the Horde application framework. It
provides a simple, clean interface for managing an online task list (i.e. a
TODO list). It also includes strong integration with the other Horde

Chora 1.2.1-RC1

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the
Chora CVS Viewer version 1.2.1.

Chora is the module in the Horde application framework that provides a
read-only WWW interface to any number of CVS repositories. Advanced features
include a visual branch view of the repository history, pretty-printing output
via the Horde framework, annotation, and output compression.
