What is misleading with it? The pci.ids file just lists a subsystem entry
under the device entry.

Please submit this correction via the online system, too.

The point is that subdevs 0x5831/0x5832 seem to belong to vendor 0x17d5
on the web, while they seem to belong to vendor 0x17d3 in pci.ids.

I could, but since the list is moderated and you'll have to review my
submissions anyway, perhaps it would be more efficient for you go to Ricoh's
website and do the updates yourself? Here's a direct link to their page
listing the chip family including the 822:

If it were the case, why would I bother setting up a web interface? ;-)

SAS1078 PCI-X Fusion-MPT SAS

Can you delete device id 0060 SAS1078 PCI-X Fusion-MPT SAS,
from the LSI Logic vender=0x1000 list. This was incorrect id.
It should be 0062 SAS1078 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS. I just
added the correct id.

My submissions are still rejected...

Yet again, I find my submissions rejected completely, without any feedback.

What do I need to do so my submissions are accepted?

This is seriously frusterating. It makes me not want to do anything for your
project.

I hope to get a response from this, since I haven't heard anything about this
from my previous attempt at submitting new PCIIDs.
