Duplicate entry in pci.ids?

Hi,
I'm working on

$ grep '10ec 8168' /usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids
                 10ec 8168  TEG-ECTX Gigabit PCI-E Adapter [Trendnet]
                 10ec 8168  High Definition Audio

I would like to ask:
Is this bug in hwdata data?
Or I interpret
#       subvendor subdevice  subsystem_name <-- two tabs
incorrectly and the tuple "subvendor subdevice" is not unique? And in 
such case what should be correct device if lspci gives me '10ec 8168'?

There were no changes recently (at least approved ones), so no new
snapshots have been generated. Today there should be a new one.

vpdupdate: pci.ids file not found / usb.ids file not found

Hi.
Sorry to bother you again, but I did not realize that I had to subscribe to the list... =(

I'm running Fedora 11, i(3)686, on an amd 4000, nvidia grafics, asrock board.
kernel is 2.6.30.5-43.fc11.i586
(mockbuild@...) (gcc version 4.4.1
20090725 (Red Hat 4.4.1-2) (GCC) ).
debuginfo for pciutils and glibc are installed.

I'm testing USB support for webcams and other devices.
So I need any info available on my devices.

When I do vpdupdate, logfile shows

Why does vpdupdate not find the files ?

Googling does not help. Lots of info but not on this problem. 
FedoraForum: no replies whatsoever.

pci.ids and usb.ids are present, 644, user root.

New web interface for pci.ids

We have finally switched to a new web interface for the PCI ID database,
which should be much more comfortable for both the submitters and the
administrators. It also provides feedback to the submitters and quick
notifications about changes. All items now contain complete history
of changes and an arbitrary number of user comments.

If you spot any bug, please let me know.
