scoring

I'm testing Yanoff+ on my TX and am wondering how scoring works. I've
turned it on via 'Misc Prefs' but when I tap 'Edit scoring DV' I just
get a beep. I want to skip articles with certain words in their
sublect line. Also is it possible to kill any article that's been
crossposted?

15 days and counting...

BTW, I use SLRN on a Linux box.

Turn off "multi index" in the "Poll Preferences" dialog; crossposted 
messages only appear in the topmost xposted newsgroup.

Or in newsgroup prefs, change "Max NGs" to 1 (for each newsgroup).

Which fits your preference is going to depend on the newsgroups you 
read; some (few) have legitimate crossposts, and some newsgroups are 
improved immensely if you kill off every last bit of crossposting.

I'd love to see a way for a Yanoff+ conduit to generate a .newsrc file 
to sync with a desktop newsreader.
