Java conduit update from Palm NOW AVAILABLE!!!

I have not yet tested it but didn't want to wait until I had because 
I know this is so important to so many people.  If you do try it out, 
let me know which device you used and if it worked.  I will udpate 
the FAQ with the results.  Here is the full email I received just 
yesterday:

I am writing because you have communicated to me your interest in 
using
Java conduits with HotSync Manager 6.0.1.  We at PalmSource thank you
for your patience and support regarding this issue.  We are pleased to
announce that a fix for this issue has been posted to the Palm OS
developer web site.  The following information was posted to the 
Conduit
Forum:

Please check out the following URL to download a replacement 
Sync20.DLL
for HotSync Manager 6.0.1 and 6.0.2. This DLL includes the missing
entrypoints that were needed for the JSync conduits.

Until our licensees, like Palm, Inc. ship a new desktop with this DLL
included, you will have to include the DLL in your installer so that

Packaging issues resolved: 3.1 release is imminent!

I finally got the issues with PocketPurchase resolved (way to go PP!!!) and
can now link in all required 3rd party libraries for all flavors of 3.1!
This means I just need to do a final round of tests and then put out the
release.  I will do everything I can to have it out by the end of next week
(there are no outstanding technical issues now, just testing)!!!

Well I *thought* the packaging issue was resolved but there's still 1
lingering problem but it should be resolved very quickly.
In the mean time I have:
Integrated the JSync (Java conduit) fix and updated the FAQ (not posted yet,
though)
Completed a full regression test (and even found/fixed a few very minor
bugs)
Updated all the documentation (including the FAQ and the latest JSync
conduit information)

I have had a report from a beta tester that there is still a problem on Treo
650 using left/center/right buttons and am looking into this but I won't let
this hold up the release if the 3rd party stuff comes through.

T5 Issues

Has anyone ever reported any navigation issues with a T5? I just  
replaced my T3 with a T5 and the navigation barely works. I'm using  
the registered version and know how to set button prefs, but they  
don't seem to work. Even just scrolling up and down in a message  
doesn't work and nothing I set in the button prefs to seem to work.

YP is the only program that is having this program so far and I'm  
stumped.
