I can't actually use MLO (it seems to be a PC only app, and I'm on a
Mac) but looking at the web site it will export as XML, which can be
read by SP desktop and exported as PDB for the Palm (basically how I
use Omnioutliner and SP). But there also seems to be a way of using
MLO on the Palm anyway, instead of trying to force SP to work with
it. Is there a trial download that you could use?

Linking and T5

I have used SP for a few years, but have never become a power user asa
I have a Palm T5 and there are issues with using this unit with Shadow.
For Jeff: Anything in the new release that will correct the linking
issues? Though SP is a very powerful and flexible program, without the
linking, it is just another list maker to me.
If nothing coming in the next release, what are plans to get this
working in the future. T5 users have waited two years for a fix. When
can we begin to use SP to its full potential?

Thanks.
Rick

I think you need Shadow Desktop to convert XML to shadow's pdb. When
I downloaded Omnishadow the requirements were for both OOPro and
Shadow Desktop. If MLO is better than Shadow why not just go over to
it wholesale?

Me again. I went back to the MLO web site and looked in the
"community". This sent me to a google group where I could use the
search button (no "members only" restrictions!!!) and I came across this

possible to synchronize Shadow with a webapplication like
Ioutliner.com for example.

I would like to share my lists with my colleagues

Thanks in advance for your answer

Re: Synchronize Shadow with a Webapplication

If iOutline or any other web outliner allows you to import XML, OPML
or a text format, then you could probably script some sort of XSLT or
Shadow Template-based import/export routine to do what you want. Keep
in mind this is something you'd have to script yourself, as I don't
think Shadow can do what you're looking for "out of the box." Alsom
depending on the import format the web accepts, you may or may not be
able to get ALL of your Shadow data into the web app.

I took a quick look at the website, and it appears ShadowPlan should
run on Palm OS 3.5, but it's not working for me.

Can't export a List to Memo anymore

I haven't tried to export a Shadow List to a Palm Memo for several
months and now I can't (never a problem before). Any help will be
appreciated greatly.

I am using Palm OS 5.4.7 on an E2.

Thanks
