Time-Reason to switch?

Thanksfor your responses about my frustration with
Palm's poor platform support - especially Anita and
Kevin. More thoughts below...

I too switched to a Mobile PC device, but found it was
a short lasting switch. The lack of programs to
choose from was the first downer, then to find those I
could choose didn't have near the options as the Palm
programs, and thus my short lived switch ended and
I've not looked back to this point in time a year
later.
Cost me money to make the switch, from my pda, phone,
and the various programs I desired. I get frustrated
with Palm too, but have learned the key is to get the
important programs that are stable and try to stay
away from the desire to add and delete other programs.

Kevin, your experience is sobering; I *will* move
slowly in this. I had wondered if StyleTap would would
allow me to keep using Shadow and another
irreplaceable app, Participate, from Handshigh
Software - great for teachers. I have not been
fiddling with the configuration of the T3 for almost a
year. T3s, though, are suffering a digitizer problem

I went to the web page, and my guess that it's a Palm emulator
running unders Windows Mobile. I've seen 'problems' in the past with
such in the sense that the emulator is a completely closed in
environment.
When you run SP this way, is it able to link outside of StyleTap into
Pocket Outlook? Calendar, etc.
Or, are the results of your SP entries getting propogated back into
your Windows desktop Outlook?
(Sync'ing, in an emulator, through the host Windows Mobile, to the
desktop MS Windows, seems just a little weird.)
