Special characters in Shadow Desktop

Hi,

I´m using Shadow Desktop 4.1.1 on Mac OS 10.3.9.

Is there a possibility to change the keyboard shortcuts in Shadow Desktop? I frequently
need some characters that I can´t enter because they are associated with some functions.

Example: On my german keyboard opening brackets are ALT+5 and Shadow Desktop
interprets that as command "show all levels".

Best regards,

Uwe

New ShadowPlan-related program: ZFunnel for Zoot users

For those of you who use Zoot, an outliner/information gathering tool for
Windows, the following program is available. It allows export of all or
part of a Zoot database as a ShadowPlan .xml file for use on the Palm (and
the ShadowPlan Desktop). I am not the author and the program is alpha
which, by definition, means that it has bugs. But some preliminary tests by
myself and others has confirmed that it does work rather well.

ZFunnel 0.5.004 is here:

https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/index.php?action=landsharedfile&user=SPL196

The updated pseudo-manual is here:

Though I'm sure discussion here will be OK, the Zoot forum where the
announcement was originally posted and where I know the author monitors
posts is located here:

Good luck,
Tom S.

Link back from Datebook

My problem refers to link back from Datebook to Shadow

When you set a link with Datebook in the Palm m115 the automated
Datebook entry showed in its Note a link back to the original Shadow
List entry. In the Palm TE that didn't happen any more and I
tought it
was a defect of that particular handheld. Now I moved to T5 and the
link back continues to appear in To Do but not in Datebook, although
I
have checked "append origin to TD/DB note".

The link back in DB is VERY useful particularly for entries programed
to show again at large time intervals, and for use a procedure I
learnt
here in this forum by wich with only the Parent entry linked and
showing in DB, it put lots of sub items at disposition in the Shadow
list when you link back

I will appreciate very much to get a help to bring the feature back
to my Palm, of course in case it still exists.

Can someone help?

Mario

Re: Link back from Datebook

So far I haven't seen a way around this other than making a link to ToDo
and copy and paste that into your Datebook item note after linking.
That is pretty tedious if you make a lot of these datebook links.

I'm watching to see if any of the PIM information that was recently
given to developers will produce a fix for this. I've been using dated
ToDos since they show up in Datebk5 along with Calendar items and I get
the link back to Shadow. That wouldn't work for you, because you want to
set these things to repeat. It sounds like making a ToDo link and then
copying the link back to Shadow from there in order to paste it into
Calendar is your best bet for setting that up.

Hmm; hadn't heard of that in ages. Thats an OS bug where when
certain kinds of dialogs go up, it forgets what to do with itself. I'll
have to look into it :(

In the text edit field in mini-editor and/or fullscreen

field does not. I'll have to look.

It is a defect in numerous recent devices; I'll be doing a change
soon which should work around this problem. (All PalmOne devices since

Exporting filtered results

Is there a way to export filtered results to either Memo Pad or
something in order to print out results? Could be done either via
desktop or handheld.

Scenario: filter a list of delegated "To Do's" for an individual out
of a main list "Things to be done".

Thanks!
