Demise of Clie

Heard about this today. At least outside of Japan there may not be any
more Sony Clies's, at least for a while.

How do I remove Shadow from my hot sync conduit (Palm default)

I have searched the web site and the forums and have not found
anything that talks directly about removing ShadowPlan.

What are the steps to remove ShadowPlan from my system.

WinXP
and HandSpring Visor (I deleted shadow from the visor all ready)

Thank you,

ms13ms

New member: Shadow desktop Mac time-line

(I searched the archives for this, but could not find it?)

When is the Mac OSX desktop version due?
Is there a possibility to be a alpha/beta tester?

considering a move to Bonsai

Hi list,

I'm a sort of long time user of shadow, however these days I spend so
much time on my desktop that I do 90% of my data entry and 40% of the
planning from there.

This means I need a less clunky Desktop product. And I have been
trying Bonsai, which has a fraction of the functionality of shadow but
the desktop is very immediate (and allows me to link to todo's
directly from the desktop).

Before I take the extreme jump of dumping shadow, is there any planned
release date for its desktop "companion", is it around the corner?

Thanks a lot,
Riccardo.

You can try add/remove programs, Shadow (or Codejedi); it doens't
always work though. (I'm using a new installer builder soon, so it will
work for later versions, but the current verisons it may or may not work
depending on your setup)

You can do it manually; just remove it from where you installed it
(use Windows Explorer, find C:\Program Files\ShadowPlan and hit delete),
and then do a file find for "shadowplan2.dll" and delete it.)

Along with all the others; theres an unsupported halfway useful
(and halfway broken) old desktop app in the Downloads section.

Yes; the Mac OSX version will go to alpha testing in probably a
month or two. Join shadow-test mailing list to find out about that sort of
thing.

The new desktop will be published when shes ready .. I'm hoping a
month or two, maybe less maybe more, but not before its properly
tested. Being an all new (and very sharp if I do say so myself
;) applicatoin means we're going to test the living heck out of it, so
that no ones data is at risk when she launches.

	Its coming along very nicely.

Re: selecting multiple items

Hi, I just came back to my Shadow project and tried your
suggestion. This is AWESOME. And now I have a much
better understanding of how to really use those related
cut/copy checked functions to great benefit. Thanks, Brian.

Bye Bye Shadow Plan

Hi there,
thanx for the exciting discussions here.
It was a very helpful time here and I'm a fan from Jeff.
But now my time is very short and I have to use a stable program
without playing here and there.
I've moved to Bonsai and Bonsai desktop.
Nothing against support and other informations!
I wish a good time and hope that you get your DT soon.
Tschüß, Arrividerci, Bye Bye, muchas gracias ...
May be, we heard in future.
LLAP, Joachim

Keysuite and Shadowplan

Hi,

I have been using Keysuite with my Palm due to its ability to have
so many categories vs. the limited categories in the native tasks
application. I just discovered Shadowplan, but I'm noticing that
the tasks that are imported come from the tasks application and it
doesn't seem to be in synch with Keysuite. I've got my Hotsync
manager set to synchronize the tasks to Keysuite, but to also
synchronize to the native Palm tasks application as well. Despite
this, things still seem out of synch. The Keysuite application is
up to date and correct while the tasks application is not.

Does anyone know how I can get the correct (ie. Keysuite)
information linked to Shadowplan?

Any information or tips in this direction would be appreciated.

Mike
