[feature request]high-res graphic toolbar icon

The graphic toolbar is useful, but it looked a little rough in Palm
TungstenT screen.

[Feature Request] Alternate bahaviour for left button of TT 5-way

In natara bonsai, the left button of TT 5-way means collapse current
branch, which help you navigate up in a deep list. While in shadow, left
cancel the selection, then back to the file list screen. I feel there
are some handy way to switch between files already, like recent
files, shadow hard button. So if the left button can be used as
collapse,it seemed to me more useful.

Besides,I like the "tap note icon to open it inline" feature, but I
need tap twice, then tap "note" to bring up note editor screen with
this option on. It seemed to me "double tap opened note go to note
editor" is a good idea.

Sincerely yours
draco

graffiti gesture up and down doesn't work in list view

In the reference it is said the graffiti gesture will move the
selected
item up,down and promote, etc. In my TT (with graffitianywhere in
screen or
in the graffiti input area),swipe left and right do have the effect
maunal refered, but swipe down bring up the mini editor and inputed
"i",swipe up have nothing happened.

Is my understanding wrong or there is some options related?

That would be a great save; ie: Essentially, PalmSource would be
contracting M/S to do the work for them. PErfect.. they do good work.

That would make me happy as hell :)

It collapses the item if its a parent. We can review this in a bit
perhaps.. I'm focusing on desktop right now.

PalmSource broke it; I'm hoping they fix the OS :/ (ie: Grafitti 2
is missing a number of things that Grafitti 1 had.. it would be trivial
for them to put it back into Grafitti 2 :/)

Mucking about with desktop view..

This is just a tech proof of concept I've been screwing with..
http://www.codejedi.com/shadowplan/shadow-test/sd3-sample1.gif

I've got this view working as a new left-panel for the desktop as
I review various technologies and plan for the next couple months. MY
current goal is something like that..

	ie:

The desktop main view would be one big wide panel (no more
left/right stuff); the tree on the left side would take up more room than
it does in the screenshot (thats just a tech demo and the columns are
resizable). There would be a column that has a little button in it (right
now its "A button" but it would be a graphic little button in the
future) that when pressed, would pop up a Details panel, like on the
handheld. Likewise, you could hit a butotn to pop up note editor.

I could have a pref to put a big tetx entry field at bottom of
window for title editting, and another pref for note editting. It would
remember sizing.

So if you didn't care about big text (you're a project manager,
say), you could have a big area for project details in the grid. If you
were in a writing mode, you could adjust the divider and make the grid
area small (say a few items high), and then have a big fat title and/or
note editor below.

Sounds like what you've been wanting?

Re: Mucking about with desktop view..

Will you be able to tab to the button and press enter to go into details?
I'd like to see it as mouse independant as possible.

Looks like it's going to be pretty!

However, I personally wouldn't want to have to click to pop up a
details view just to see anything other than the titles - especially
as the desktop has the advantage of all that screen real estate to
view lots of details at the same time. I take it that there would be
other columns (user prefs definable or not) to view dates, tags,
priorities, etc (like in zDesk)?

As long as I've got a pref to give me a note-editing pane I can ctrl-
tab into, and I can see all the other details in (user definable?)
columns (which I can tab through), I'll be more than happy.
