Thanks for sending the database in private email.

I tried it, using the current version of course, and it worked fine.
So I pulled out an older version and tried. Here is the full error
message:

Font must be Standard, Bold, LargeBold, Narrow, or Tiny.
Unable to process line 58.
Error reading metadata file 'History.txt'.

When reporting problems, be sure to report the whole problem. The
whole error message shows it's the Font bug that was discussed mid-
January. The fix was posted on January 17. When you run into a
problem, the first thing to do is to check if there is a newer
version and if the What's New list for the newer version(s) mentions
the problem you encountered.

I have just tried to download the upgrade and got through all prompts until
I got to the check your Device for any messages.

My device says " nstallation was unsuccessful. The program or setting
cannot be installed because it is not digitally signed with a trusted
certificate."

the first time I did it I disabled Norton incase that was the issue, I
have checked Microsoft Activsync and the program is listed for syncing.

Can anyone suggest further checks please.

I've already hooked up Deferred Items for a future v3.1 release (both
for Windows Mobile and for Palm OS). "Deferred Items" means you can
mark a Needed item as "defer for later" instead of checking it off.
It is taken out of the Totals, and when you Checkout it gets marked
as Needed again. Deferred Items are drawn with an arrow instead of a
checkbox. To mark as item as Deferred, you can tap the checkbox and
slide the stylus to the right (a swiping gesture) or you can
choose "Defer for later" from the item's context menu.

When you install a program on your device, if it's not signed (and HS
is not, since I haven't paid $$$ to be able to) then a prompt comes up
asking if you're sure. If you don't respond in time, then the
installation fails.

If the prompt isn't even coming up, then you've got something else
going on. Sorry, but it's not a HandyShopper thing, and you'll need to
research on the net.

I've just installed HS2 on Ipaq, I copied a HS2 .pdb from Palm to Ipaq, it
works fine

*if* I edit the shopping list on Ipaq, will the list be transferable back
to Palm ?

and, what do I do for icons, my list on Ipaq is missing icons, are the
icons transferable from Palm?
