Klay-

It looks like this page is no longer up. Is the project officially
dead now? At one time I visited that page and d'l the beta and thought
it was a good start. Do you still have the design document, that
describes the approach?

So, how is the project going?

FYI, the wiki at "gtd.g-b.dk" no longer exists (but the idea and the

project is not!). It was getting too much link spam to game sites, and

I could no longer deal with constantly deleting pages and users.

Cheers,

Sleep timer

Does anyone know of a sleep timer for Palm OS (I have a Centro)? I
like to listen to audiobooks at night and want something that can be
set to go off automatically at 15 or 30 minutes, for example.

Re: Sleep timer

You could use Always Off (http://www.persicke.de/palmfree.htm) which allows
you to change the auto-off time in a Palm OS unit anywhere from 10 seconds
through an hour and to 'always on'.

It's free, my favorite price. I use it all the time on my Treo 755p

Re: Sleep timer

In my experience, music players themselves mess with the auto off
feature, so an external program would not have any effect on the player
while it is playing. My suggestion would be, select a number of songs
that last for the desired amount of time, and use the random order
feature if your player supports it (PTunes does).
MMPlayer has a shareware feature, where the player turns down the
volume after a time, to encourage registration. That would be nice as
a regular registered feature.
Personally, I find it easiest to fall asleep to random talking about
some boring topic, if you are like that, try Audible.
I have an unconfirmed theory, that if you disable the background
feature of some of the players, it may allow auto off to kick in, but I
never tested that theory.

Palm todo application with font control

Howdy all,

I'm looking for a todo list substitute that has greater control of
the font size than the default Palm tasklist application. I'd like to
use a smaller font so I can see more of my list at one time.

I've been using MemoLeaf as a memopad substitute and I really like
it because it edits the memo database rather than maintaining its own
database and also allows greater finetuning of the font size (among
other things).

Is there a similar application that works on the todo list database
and also allows better control of the font size?

I'm not too interested in todo-list substitutes that maintain their
own database - I like the linking of datebook and the todo list data.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Aaron

Stupid question - wouldn't just doing the list mean there were less
things on it, meaning that you could see more at a time? (This from a
guy who is very well practiced at ignoring lists.

I suppose you're right. But I'd like to see more of the list so I can
better do the things on the list.

The only other temporary suggestion I can think of is increasing the
resolution of your graphics on your monitor or if you are using a laptop -
hooking that up to an external monitor.
