It was my first introduction to GTD. I liked it but ultimately bought the
book for the extra detail and so I could refer to it as needed. I plan to
listen to it every once in a while as a refresher.

Or you could also send using VeraMail right from the phone. Slower but
it comes in handy when, like you said, you are on the road or away from
a computer.

RE: GTD from Audible

I did the same: used the Audible version (played on my Palm, of course) and
then bought the book. The audio is a good intro (like seeing DA at a
seminar, I imagine). The book lets me review details and learn more (visual
learning). I like Christina's idea about re-playing the audio for a
refresher.

SMTG Template With Access (ZIP)

The subject Smartlist-To-Go template is in the GtD_Palm files
section. Does anyone have instructions for its use?

...or should it be intuitive to anyone who's read the book?

Thanks,

Re: Various ways to use Versamail

True ... currently I don't have BT - should have it within a week, and I do get my email from my regular celll
phone, slow as heck, but don't miss those important emails when I'm away from the house.

RE: GTD from Audible

I downloaded it from Audible as well. The philosophical and psychological
information was good, and easy to listen to in the car. I'm actually glad
they chose NOT to put all the details of the method on the CD because I
would have been unable to absorb it while driving. I also have the book.

RE: Various ways to use Versamail

I use Versamail with my BT phone to get mail from my Yahoo account. (You
have to pay $30 a year for pop3 access to Yahoo.)

I have Outlook setup at home to forward email to Yahoo if it comes from
specific senders... this way I get their email right away.

I plan on ordering a BT phone today, and have long-since considered paying
the $30 for POP3 Yahoo, especially considering the incredible size of their
email accounts.

I just posted that particular message since Strawberi girl thought without
Bluetooth and/or Wifi (if I read correctly), figured setting up VM was a
waste, when it certainly is not, and has a lot of advantages.
