MeeGo mailing list shutdown

Dear participants

As part of the MeeGo infrastructure ramp down, we will begin to shut down most 
mailing lists. In the coming days, all mailing lists at lists.meego.com will 
be shut down, except for the following:

	Name			Reason
	meego-dev		general discussions
	meego-commits	automated emails from builds still being sent there
	meego-security	security concerns

The mailing list archives will be frozen too, but not deleted until the main 
infrastructure shuts down completely. Some mailing lists have been archived 
publicly by other services, such as:

	http://gmane.org/find.php?list=meego
	http://www.mail-archive.com/find.php?q=meego

In addition, we'd like to ask everyone still using MeeGo services, like OBS, 
to begin finding other solutions. We will shut down all but essential services 
in May 2013.

Are there any dual-sim phones that can handle meego at the moment?

[NEMO] New weekly Nemo Mobile release 0.20111208.2.NEMO.2012-01-05.1 available for N900, N950 and i586

Hi,

new Nemo Mobile weekly release is available with following changes:

Bugs fixed:
- NEMO#3  : No alert tone for incoming SMS
- NEMO#34 : Dialer does not store phone number in history for
             declined or missed calls
- NEMO#43 : Kasvopus update

Other changes:
- bootchart package was added to CE:Utils repository
- maliit was updated to latest upstream version

[NEMO] No weekly release on week 52 (/2011)

Hi,

I'm sorry for the late notice. But there will not be a weekly release of 
Nemo Mobile done during the week 52. This is mainly because of the 
holiday season and a lack of major changes.

In case you want to try out the minor changes made after the previous 
release you can use zypper (zypper ref;zypper update) to update the 
latest packages to your release.

Next release will be released during the first week of year 2012.

[NEMO] New weekly Nemo Mobile release 0.20111208.2.NEMO.2011-12-22.1 available for N900, N950 and i586

Hi,

new Nemo Mobile weekly release is available, with following changes.

Bugs fixed:
- NEMO#7  : Terminal has no icon
- NEMO#9  : Battery indicator is not working
- NEMO#21 : Swipe extension prints a lot of debug output
- NEMO#36 : DSME needs to be updated to newer version
- NEMO#41 : Darko should be default theme
- NEMO#44 : Winter background

Other changes:
- Many of the MTF based packages were updated.
- MeeGo Terminal updated and contains now copy/paste feature
- Default theme changed to darko
- quill package updated to another upstream and version numbers
   is actually lower than before so normal zypper update doesn't work
   for those packages

New weekly Nemo Mobile release 0.20111208.2.CE.2011-12-15.1 available for N900, N950 and ia32

Hi,

New weekly Nemo Mobile release is available for N900, N950 and ia32 
platforms.

This release contains following bug fixes:

NEMO#2  - Device does not notify user from incoming call
NEMO#14 - VKB opens even if HWKB is already open
NEMO#24 - qt-components should have HAVE_MEEGOGRAPHICSSYSTEM defined.

Also following changes were made:

* Release is based on new Mer release 0.20111208.2 see changes from 
http://www.mail-archive.com/mer-general-VVXm0OgCXj24QsDJlTKKhWD2FQJk+8+b <at> public.gmane.org/msg00053.html
* New Maliit version is included with new keyboard theme.
* Some fixes to the icons.

No weekly Nemo Mobile release today

Hi,

Because practically no changes to previous image are available no weekly 
Nemo Mobile release will be done today. Next release is scheduled on 
Thursday 15th of December which will be based on the newer Mer release. 
However if there are major changes that needs testing a release could be 
done before 15th.

Hi,

New weekly Nemo Mobile release is available for N900/N950/N9/x86.

Bugs fixed:
- NEMO#6 - https sites do not work in the browser
- NEMO#8 - WiFi indicator is broken
- NEMO#11 - System UI includes profile-icon in menu
- NEMO#12 - System UI menu opens too much down
- NEMO#26 - No missed call notification
- NEMO#28 - old command line irc should be removed
- NEMO#32 - Call history not working in dialer

Other fixes:
- N950/N9 image doesn't require link creations for MOSLO
- twimgo is included
- Release is based on newer Mer Core
