MeeGo mailing list shutdown

Dear participants

As part of the MeeGo infrastructure ramp down, we will begin to shut down most 
mailing lists. In the coming days, all mailing lists at lists.meego.com will 
be shut down, except for the following:

	Name			Reason
	meego-dev		general discussions
	meego-commits	automated emails from builds still being sent there
	meego-security	security concerns

The mailing list archives will be frozen too, but not deleted until the main 
infrastructure shuts down completely. Some mailing lists have been archived 
publicly by other services, such as:

	http://gmane.org/find.php?list=meego
	http://www.mail-archive.com/find.php?q=meego

In addition, we'd like to ask everyone still using MeeGo services, like OBS, 
to begin finding other solutions. We will shut down all but essential services 
in May 2013.

api.meego.com/build.meego.com SSL Certificate Replaced 12/20/2012


For those of you using api.meego.com/build.meego.com via SSL with your
OBS/OSC client you will have noticed a certificate update was completed
on 12/20/2012.

Some users will see errors if they are not using standard ca-certs, they
are too old, or are otherwise not working correctly.

The newly issued SSL Certificate is now in effect as the old one was
about to expire. Normally I wouldn't announce an SSL Cert change but I
understand sometimes this causes problems for OSC client users.

MeeGo.com Outage and general maintenance - 10/20/2012 16:00 UTC for 8 hours.


MeeGo General Backend Maintenance Announcement for 10/20/2012 at 16:00 UTC

Some general maintenance activities will be taking place on the 
MeeGo.com and MeeGo related sites on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 16:00 
UTC.  (Saturday October, 20, 2012 09:00 PDT) for a duration of 8 hours.

During this time multiple Patching, Firmware updates, Virtual Machine 
Migrations will be in progress. While the window is 8 hours long most 
services will be interrupted once or twice.

mxr.meego.com scheduled decommission 8/10/2012


mxr.meego.com is scheduled for decommission on Friday, August 10, 2012.

If you were using mxr to search or read MeeGo source code you can still 
access the code in git or source rpm form after that point.

MeeGo wiki spam

Hi,

I've just noticed that the MeeGo Wiki is getting spammed. See for 
example page http://wiki.meego.com/Forum_/_Talk and see 
http://wiki.meego.com/Special:Contributions/Pelago for some spam that I 
have reverted. I'm sure there's plenty more and I have given up trying 
to deal with this for now.

If there are any MeeGo Wiki moderators still active, do they want to 
deal with this?

Hi All,

 Anybody knows what happened to these two talk videos (I could not
find them on the Linux Foundation Site neither):

Do they work for you when you try view them? I recall they were
offline for a while, but then it came back. But I can't see it

Regarding PVR for kernel 2.6.37 armv7l

Hi ,

I need to PVR driver suitable for kernel 2.6.37 for armv7l. Can anyone help me to do the same?
or atleast tell me how to build PVR for this kernel version.

[Just an additional info:
I already had PVR for 3.1.5 but am using 2.6.37. So it shows invalid module format while inserting the
driver.]
