The key bit of information missing from your table is when things were
promoted and how long they've had >10 votes. For example, AIUI,
Mussorgsky was only promoted to Extras-testing last week.

Andrew

R: apps in extras-testing with more than 10 rates

OK for Mussorgsky, but the others? I can't check all applications, I verify
on this link:

The list was only an example... ... Remember, please, that some forms of
immobility does not help maemo

Cheers,

Marco.

CSSU: optification of /var/lib/dpkg and /var/lib/apt

Possibly this has been discussed before, but -

Would it make sense to optify the mentioned directories in CSSU?
Altogether both dirs take 64megs of space for me.

/var/lib/apt is already optimized on my N900.

Maybe it's only optified after a reflash and never got optimized through
SSU routes?

I wonder if de-optifying it will make HAM stop "Checking for updates"
after every single tap in the interface...

I filed a bug about that, https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11463

In my case I found a possible reason: I had changed the update
interval to a really huge number. I changed it to a lesser number and
then App Manager stopped checking after every single action.

Of course it is still slow as hell and apt-worker is using 100% for
several minutes, but that's "normal". I use fapman anyway for
everything except for PR updates.

In my case the update interval is at the default of 1440, and it still
does "Checking for updates" for everything, even when I don't do any
installing or uninstalling.
