We already got that basicly. Well, perhaps not the most expensive windowmanagers like KDE, Gnome.

Sounds quite logical.

Yes. Im not sure why everyone keep on wanting flashrom to contain their filesystem + kernel. Its alot
safer to use the storage (CF) for what its for. But I agree that having the possibility of doing whatever a user
desires is always best.

Re: kernel 2.6 status

Greetings,

A vanilla 2.6.24 will pretty much build nicely default. Maybe some minor patches.

I'll have more information once I can try it myself, get abit fuzzy since I always use the jlime.org git repository.

for people wanting to get latest development snapshot, you can always download from jlime.org:
git://jlime.org/jlime-current.git (kernel source)
git://jlime.org/jlime.git (configs / documentation / patches / .... )

Anyhow, 2.6.24 WILL contain (in addition to 2.6.23):
Keyboard support (6xx/7xx)
Touchscreen support (7xx)

Best wishes
Kristoffer

why audio capture gets only zeros?

hi all,
I'm trying to figure out why audio capture do not works, and i noticed that
the ioctl works, but you the audio read() reads only 0's from the mic.

I think its better to make the driver work ok in kernel 2.4, and then port it
to 2.6.

bye,
rafael diniz
