panotools internals wiki page

I wrote a new wiki page:

Naturally, this is a subject where the developers know much more than

a mere user. Please read, correct and complete...

wiki account creation is open again, by the way...

Re: Invitation to Libre Graphics Meeting 2008

Hi Jolanta,

Thanks a lot for your invitation. I participated in LGM 2007, and found it
to be a great event.

I'm looking forward to participating, and while I still can't confirm my
participation 100%, I would be happy to give a presentation about Hugin at
LGM 2008.

Re: Invitation to Libre Graphics Meeting 2008

Hi Jolanta,

I confirm Pablo's impressions from LGM 2007 - it was a
great event.

You may want to invite Giuseppe Rota of (copied on this mail) to the
LGM family.

I was sure I could not make it in May 2008. Then we
had this tragic experience
and our rendez-vous with destiny was postponed. Right
now I am not sure yet of my schedule for May 2008.

My speech at LGM 2007 was about the workflow to
produce full spherical panoramas like
<> (shot at LGM
itself) and how to increase the share of OpenSource
software to it. As a result I contributed a section
about panorama stitching to Cédric Gémy's forthcoming
edition of his GimpEfficace book, and OpenSource
software for panorama making is improving.

More of my workflow is moving toward OpenSource tools.
If there is interest (and no schedule conflict) I
could host a session on panorama making, from shooting
to publishing, with emphasis on the challenges to the
software and on the requirements that artists like
myself have to help OpenSource software adoption.
