Eclipse experiments

Hi all, I would like to express my deep appreciation of the work on lesstif. I 
am also very sad because of the spam in the discuss list. Lesstif is 
wonderfull and on my FreeBSD5.4 box it worked ok with nedit. Tremendous job 
guys (I like the implementation of the wheel mouse scroll).

I yesterday tried to compile swt with lesstif instead of motif. I also loaded 
eclipse and had the usual implemetation lacking problems. I saw there were 
some problems with XmParseString or something similar. Is there anything I 
can do about it to implement it?

What do I have to know ( I know enough c++,tolerable c , tolerable  java and 
basic tcl/tk) to contribute to the implementation? Is this problem reletaed 
to Xorg? How much time will it take to fix for a ( almost ) programmer like 
me under linux? Do I have to know something more than simple c++? I 
downloaded the free books from ICS and some other free books. What other 
places do you need help ( if possible as far as time is concerned by me)?

Re: Eclipse experiments

Help on fixing that problem would be welcome. Most of the things you
mention are not required knowledge : LessTif is written in C using
the class framework that Xt implements.

prolbem during ./configure

When I configure lesstif-0.94 I get the following 'piece', This is on a Solaris 9  sun box.

I copied Xrender.h from two locations directly into the directory I am running configure in, same message for both.
/usr/openwin/share/include/X11/extensions/Xrender.h
/usr/local/include/X11/extensions/Xrender.h
