System.Data docs?

Hi,
Why are the System.Data docs not built in monodoc? The ecma source
seems to be there, but the line for including them in the Makefile is
commented out. IMHO, this should be enabled as a lot of libraries
crossreference the System.Data namespace.

problem reading mono docs from port 8080

Mono doc is published at http://www.go-mono.com:8080/

Our company fire-wall prevents us from using this port.

Can I please ask mono to publish the mono doc on a regular port 80 url ?

Re: problem reading mono docs from port 8080

Well, there *used* to be http://www.go-mono.com/docs/

The difference was that :8080 ran with XSP, and /docs/ ran with
mod_mono. Or vice versa, I forget.

But /docs/ is not running at the moment.

Miguel: can you see why /docs/ isn't running anymore, and re-enable it
if possible?

Thanks,
 - Jon

Sorry, my fault. I disabled that due to a bug in xsp. It should be up
and running now.

Hello!

In case no-one responded privately yet, there is much work on
documentation to be done. There is essentially two main tasks:
1. The Mono Handbook (monkeyguide in cvs) a tutorial for mono and
related projects.
2. Api documentation for the class libraries.

More info at http://go-mono.com/documentation.html

Working on either will be very helpful, and a native english speaker can
always review the grammar at a later time. So the first step is to
choose what you wish to work on, then you can get the sources and go to
work. Let us know if you have any questions or need more info on how to
start.

Monodoc assembly not found (Windows)

What is needed to use monodoc on Windows?

First, I was having a problem with XSP on windows
(see Bug report 50432 for details).

And now, while trying to simply setup
xsp root directory on monodoc-0.7\browser\web,
I get the error monodoc assembly not found on
both frames.

Now, I believe we are suppose to use ./configure and
make to build monodoc.dll before trying to use monodoc,
but these are not available stuff on Windows without cygwin.

Do I need cygwin to be able to use monodoc?

A prebuild monodoc.dll would be great. And I suppose
it should run on any platform. Why not include it in the
distribution?
